All I know about EVE is that there have been some massive autism wars and meltdowns over their pretend ship battles.

I am also very excited.

The problem with Eve is that you can get pretty much the same level of lore from a guy working accounting in a big company for couple of decades. It's 99.99% boring number crunching, with the occasional case of the vice CEO fucking the CEO's wife, stealing his shares and burning his mansion, which affected quarterly earnings by 2.4%.

"LITERALLY SHAKING WHILE WRITING THE SCRIPT", it really sounds like he got used to being coddled by the internet and the second he starts getting blowback (both from other content creators arguing nonsensical plagiarism and his fanbase asking what he's been doing the last year) he went full defensive and just wastes his own time. It's especially jarring that a minute after saying he takes the script as a full time job, he mentions how he now started hosting a fucking youtube game show.

Usually coming against your fanbase is the death knell of any content creator.

-QuaranTea was a nice idea that could have been profitable and worked quite well long term. (I am a bit mad we never got an atrocity guide interview).

I don’t really understand why he made that video, he didn’t even seem to enjoy it himself. His dry delivery works when he’s discussing absurd topics, not so much naval history.

That was the exact problem with his episode on Wings. We don't need a good 20-30 minutes dedicated to the match where he rages and was the beginning of his fallout with PKA. That shit should have been heavily summarized and take up 5 minutes at the very most.

I'm interested to see what happens when he finally finishes the video - he had such momentum and then just stopped posting to focus on this 6-hour opus that covers a niche subject which might not be as interesting as he thinks it is. There's plenty of talented creators who post short videos between long ones - also I noticed that his one video from 2022 has 1.8 million views, a good amount for any creator but surprisingly low for him.

If it's that stressful he could always take a break, although he'd have to lose 2k a month on Patreon.

I can't understand the plagiarism issue.

First of all, it's youtube. You can copy the timeline or substance of even published works, attribute where you got the info, and present it in your own format. Very few people will care even if the sources are not attributed, and those who do will be mostly satisfied with a simple attribution to the pertinent source.

Second, this sudden worry about plagiarism implies he did not plagiarize sources in the past. We all know that's untrue. You can't make a documentary on Terry A. Davis without trawling through the farms and copying info from posters here. So why would using info from a "published" source be any more plagiaristic than using info from aggregated posts on a forum? I think it might cause more trouble than it's worth to attribute the farms in a normie youtube video, but that rationale doesn't accord with the plagiarism concerns he seems to have now. Ultimately, it comes off as hypocritical at best (i.e. "Nobody will know where I got this from so I don't have to worry about straight-up copying info in forum posts."), and devious at worst (i.e. "I can copy info from these random Internet forum posts without telling anyone I did, because who will realistically take all the info I present and trace it back to posts on an evil bigot site?").

I also just don't believe he spent a year+ doing NOTHING but working on an Eve video, with some hobbies of playing instruments and video games. Yeah, writing, researching, recording, and editing can be time consuming. I get it. But I find it laughable that a 9-5 schedule would not be enough time for his production. If he has muh mentalz then that's okay, I guess. I'm not giving him money or anything, so what do I care if he's using his patrons as a tugboat? But it all clearly seems to be an attempt to give an excuse that wouldn't annoy his paying fanbase into retracting their monetary support, and sperging out about people wondering where his content is doesn't help.

Finally, the furry thing is cringe as fuck and his fursona creeps me out. It's a red flag when someone decides to be a public furry, and it's a double red flag when their fursona is something out of the standard wheelhouse of dogs, foxes, dragons, etc. If it was just a gag, he should have gone with a rabbit/hare to fit the Down the Rabbit Hole brand.
