I’m mystified at how Claire managed to spend so much time streaming, running chudbuds and DM’ing randos with four or six kids. It would be more understandable if all the kids were twelve plus, but she has little ones. Wth? I couldn’t manage two minutes on a phone call without getting interrupted with one kid until they were five years old.

That's what let me know something was amiss. I know people were tired of me bringing it up however it had to be said.

Claire has from what I can gather two children under five which as it stands is an around the clock job. Add in the dishes and laundry from four other kids even if they aren't there full time and there is no way she should have time to run a fedi instance never mind stream 3-4 hours multiple times per week on top of that.

Between the security of her users and the wellbeing of her children something was going to be lacking.
