For a while on /qa/ there was a guy who would reply to you with a specific soyjak with the text '>though' if you put 'though.' at the end of your sentence. To kind of dodge/nod to him people started using other words and combining those words with though like though + however = thoughever, or though + albeit = thoughbeit, etc. Eventually it became another one of the 500 injokes they have. At least I'm pretty sure that's the chain of events.
