Two 8-month-old pit bulls that were loose in Nanaimo attacked several children, severely injuring at least one. Other people that came to aid the children were also injured.

The children were playing in a yard at the house of one of their friends. The dogs were from somewhere else in the neighborhood and had been cited for being at large previously.

One of the owners of the dogs came and got the dogs but did not stick around. The news interviewed the other owner, a Dangerhair that looked to be in her late 40s or early 50s. While she was devastated at what her dogs had done, she said to the reporter, "People are saying, look at this from the prospective of a parent, well, these dogs are my kids, too," and then she broke down crying.

It was later reported both dogs were euthanized, as there have been other incidents prior to this one, and due to the severity of the injuries the one particular child sustained.

To the dangerhair dog owner I would have to say, "If these dogs were your KIDS, you did a lousy job of raising them. Thank heavens you didn't spawn any of your own."

It's hard to know what all has been discussed in this thread (I've gone through the last thirty pages at least.) but I can say the argument for "Oh, we can just breed out the bad genetics!" Is fucking stupid.

This would theoretically be possible, yes. There are people who are making a concerted effort to correct problems in some breeds of dogs. The French Bulldog for example is notorious for having a nose and trachea that are far too narrow. This is going to be a difficult battle since average people and even dogshow dipshits love the dogs that look like they have been hit in the face with a fucking shovel. The pug suffers a similar fate, yet people are trying their damnedest to track and breed out these problems. As difficult as this is going to be for those breeds, it's going to be literally impossible for shitbulls.

The issue is that hordes of niggers, wiggers, and spics breed these mauling machines for their own sick pleasure. They aren't writing down the genetic line in some book. These fucking bix noods probably can't even spell pitbull. They just know big strong animal fucking means more big strong animal. They also think that pitbulls make them look cool. It highlights the only ways these dogs resemble their owners. Their callous disregard for anyone else, and unpredictable violent tendencies.

Of course, there are some especially evil individuals like those who run dogfighting shows who know EXACTLY what they're doing and breed these fucking things for maximum power and efficiency. No amount of philanthropy or vision is going to overcome the roughshod breeding that the niggers, wiggers, and spics are engaged with on top of the min-maxing evil bastards plan out to make merciless killing machines.

Kill every stray pitbull. Spay and neuter the rest. If any are unattended, shoot them. It's the only way forward.

As the #1 canine killer of women, children and the elderly,[7] this issue should be a no brainer for someone who says they are pro-life. Ban pit bulls! The statistics are undeniable. I have a Frenchie. Love it to death but yeah I had to have it's soft pallette trimmed so she could breath better. I neutered her and I've donated to causes to improve the breed.

Wild canine don't even hunt like this from my knowledge. This isn't survival, this isn't natural, this is just pure monster antics. Typically wild canine will aim for the shoulder, neck, and sometimes the hind/legs to pull it down. Going for the head can be a death sentence depending on what they are hunting due to horns, being in attack path, etc. This was to attack just because it can, not because it was hungry. Just brutal.

I agree 100%. Growing up it was hammered into my head that "a dog is a working animal". Yeah you can like the dog. The dog can be your friend , hell the dog can be your best friend. But above All Else the dog has a job that it has to do. Be it guarding the livestock, guarding the property, or pest control. I kick the dog out of the house at sunrise, and I let him back in after sundown. No stupid clothes, no dumb flower crown Instagram pictures, no "fur child" shit. He earns his keep during the day, and gets to lounge around the house at night.

If you view the dog it's your equal you're just lowering yourself to their level.

The most upsetting part about this is not the horrific pictures, but that the bull lived for a time. Couldn't die from the injuries, had to be put down as a result of it.
