Demo's out, it's basically the village fight bit. It took some getting used to, the ganados aren't as tanky as they used to be but they are a lot more aggressive. Compared to the original where I could just walk over that fight with a hand tied behind my back, this time around I actually got killed a couple of times before I could get a handle on things.
Basically the ganados are constantly on your ass, trying to cut you off and flank you. The first couple of tries I was in a mad scramble to find some breathing room. Capcom also made a couple of changes so that previously safe spots are not at all safe anymore, so there's that.
Overall the demo left me feeling wanting more, so mission accomplished. They even kept the bingo line!
A couple of complaints: I know this is a demo, but where are my options? I don't remember whether or not this was the case for RE2's demo as well, but there are basically no graphic options to mess with. The game looks muddier than it should, probably due to some shitty anti aliasing, but I could find no way to change it.
Also I couldn't change the mouse sensitivity to my liking, much to my annoyance.
Leon's movement also feels sluggish. I dunno how to describe it, it's like he always takes half a step more than I intended when I let go of the movement keys. Not really an issue during combat when you're just barreling through, but it's kinda annoying during slower movement.
