Yes that is Wil Wheaton. He also narrated Ready Player One. And no, that excerpt is from Ready Player Two. It would take an inordinate amount of time to describe exactly how much worse 2 is than 1. Basically 2 was written in like one year to capitalize on the movie adaptation of 1 and it shows. The tranny character is LITERALLY a token. They show up for one scene and then they're exiled out of the plot until the end when they show up with the macguffin to beat the big bad. It's quite a meme.
