Saving money up front by not getting a lawyer to draw up a written agreement for your partnership and doing everything on a handshake, or "among family" means that you will be paying a lawyer a lot more when someone wants to dissociate and everyone's recollections of the verbal agreements differs wildly.

My uberjew lawyer who doesn't drink (and takes saturdays completely off) is $1500/hour. He knows how rare he is. He also eats a lot, which is just a different coping habit.

My family company uses contract attorneys all the time, haven't seen any evidence of any drunks. I'm sure some use recreational drugs, and there's definitely some infidelity happening. But not drunks. They're too up to speed and aggressive for that crap. They work too hard, unlike Rekieta.
