Minor PL but I actually work for one of these companies and it's a fucking madhouse right now so it's a very serious situation and I may be out of a job soon, lol. Never thought I'd have such mixed feelings over companies I hate potentially going under.

Called it once, and I'm gonna call it again: Side Scrollers Podcast is going bust with this DSP interview. They're gonna give him soft ball questions, give him control of the floor, and skirt around any one of his several controversies. And if DSP is confronted with something he won't like, he'll fucking book, and the Side Scrollers will have to suck his cock to keep him on or risk the podcast getting ruined as a result.

I expect absolutely nothing from this shit. Side Scrollers will act like hairdryers and blow smoke up his ass, and DSP will lie through his teeth and call detractors evil people and play victim.

I'm consistently amazed by how people keep offering phil a platform to spew the same old pignosis he's been spewing for 15 years.

He's not going to go into any interesting topic

He's not going to say anything he hasn't repeated ad nauseum in his own and detractor vids for years

Phil in the end is just a minor internet figure. Other than being 'the guy' he's almost completely unknown except for a tiny segment of the web. Not even at the level a podcast of people who were C list internet celebs 15 years ago .
Any audience who cares enough to pay attention to a phil interview hates him. And will just dislike you more.

Due to the above you're going to see little if any lasting effect other than a diminishing of your reputation from a softball let alone any real monetary or fame boost. Like is Quartering better off in anyway that he wouldn't have been just by turning out another one of his videos instead of doing that softball with phil?

Unless Craig pulls a rabbit out of his hat and actually confronts phil. Its just an utter waste of time for everyone involved including phil since this is not going to magically make him into some mainstream white hot mrbeatesqe figure like he's hoping.

Phil said it himself, this side scrollers podcast is a reboot of craig's old podcast from the 2010s, this current iteration is only about a month old. they've probably hit the limit of viewers they can draw in off craig's name alone so now they want to expand their audience.
