You're going in the right direction but I wouldn't worry about the details of the social contract like efforts to decrease violence so much as if society collapses I'd worry about the culture-based "social constructs" like "gender identity" going with it leaving a heckin focus on biological sex.

I think you forgot that one of society's social contracts is to not meet people with violence. But if the world ends, then they get to stay in that state of now-now-now, they don't have to think about a future where they have to live with knowing they squandered most of the opportunities for a good life and there's no way to go back and fix it. Taking the liberty of linking to the book review you mentioned: Once a Man, Never a Woman In an extraordinary new book, Shannon Thrace describes her disintegrating marriage to a man consumed by narcissism and gender dysphoria.

I don't know why, but it surprises me time after time how similar the stories of AGPs are. It's nuts that the culture endorses the insane claims of addicts in free-fall, it's like if everyone started to agree "Oh yes, you definitely DO drive better when you've had a few drinks".
