Also, troons are permitted to hold all classes of pilots licenses as well as ATC positions. Usually they would be weeded out due to the requirement that they have a medical certification and that would fail the "mental" part. But sadly that is no longer the case:

Since leaving the White House, Trump has been blamed for the crisis at the southern border, the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, rapid inflation, the East Palestine environmental disaster, and now Silicon Valley Bank collapsing. We always fucking hold those though. You can find US soldiers drilling and training with just about anyone in the world at any given moment. Hell, we've even sent Marines to France to do riot control and crowd management drills with them since hey, might as well learn from the best.

Trump is like Don Rickles in that you knock someone around a bit, then pat them on the back, everyone walks away happy because that's how people talk. Other politicians don't even do that, it's why Cruz felt so fake in '16 even if he had the stronger political record.
