OK I can only break this down as a Guy on a dating app giving advice since Pointing out the obvious is to easy here.
As said before POF is just for hookups but for arguments sake lets assume you don't know that and are trying to use it for legitimate dating.

1. only 2 pics is Peetz, especially when neither of them has other people. Having other people shows people can tolerate you and want to be around you. Try and have a selfie that's not just in your room (shows you go outside), have one with friends, one doing something you like (preferably outdoors) and maybe something funny/ adventurous.
