The Foodist did not come out of the UTTP. Yes, some of our founding members, per se, were associated with the UTTP and took influence from them. However, blaming UTTP as our sole influence doesn't give an accurate representation. We are actually a mishmash of different friend groups and troll communities all coming together, not UTTP in particular.
Our particular flavor of trolling never came from UTTP. It arose naturally simply because there was a demand for it. "hmm... look at all these celebrity deaths! I can make ragebait videos out of these and become famous!"

Children do and say all kinds of fucked up shit because they want attention regardless of if it's negative or positive. Unfortunately, unrestricted internet acess has caused schoolyard bullying to evolve into whatever this is. At the end of the day these are all just middle class british children with clearly neglectful families. Rate me optimistic but I want to believe most of them will grow out of it by the time they hit 20. Most people outgrow their edgy phase by then in my experience.
