That's a good game though. The Dead or Alive games were also good. Bayonetta is good. If someone makes a good game and they like T&A then hey, more power to them. Making a game about T&A and adding the game as an afterthought creates the shit games that [user I don't remember] plays.

It is a good game, it's one of my favorites in fact. But despite that the fact remains that it would not be nearly as popular as it is if 2B looked like TLOU2's Abby.

Well, I hate everything anime with a burning passion and Automata was very anime so I didn't care. Years later it showed up on Gamepass and I gave it a whirl and liked it. I don't think an Abby could fit into the game visually, thematically or aesthetically so you're right in that regard. The creators would really have to torpedo their own product to fit someone that unlikable into the game.

But in the same vein, Marth would sink Silent Hill 2 if he was the main character.

It depends on the game.

Attempting to bank on sex appeal appears to have killed the Mega Man X Dive gacha, because they did it by focusing on OC donut steels to deliver said sex appeal instead of characters anyone cared about. Though they did try it once by putting child character Roll in a leotard.

Part of me wants to believe that the new, upcoming animated Mega Man movie coming to Netflix would just be another pile of shit, but I can't speak for myself as it's probably already dead in the water.

I wouldn't say sex appeal is the MAIN reason HG is still remembered, but for the overall vibe of the game, first thing I think of is simply the game's locations.

Do agree with the vibe of the game, its still a damn good experience today, but like the dude said before about Nier Automata, it wouldnt be nearly as popular as it is if you had Last of Us 2 Abby as the protag and stalker
