Maybe you can answer this question, then...if the state of Virginia cannot find a home for Chris, can they legally transfer Chris to a place out-of-state?My powerlevel is that I am courtroom staff and we occasionally handle Chris-type individuals who keep getting low level charges until they get something serious. I have explained before how the courts work with mentally ill persons a couple of times, I don't want to reiterate that. I can only say that based on my experience, the continuances are likely to be based on the fact that the state just doesn't have a place to put him. This article may be of some help explaining this.

I don't know. I am not familiar with the laws in Virginia that handle that, and those would be the laws that apply to his case. I am not aware of a similar case handled at the state level that has involved transfer to another state, although I have not specifically researched this. (This is not a federal case, so those statutes, which may have access to a wider system, don't apply. Chris' case is not by any means the sort of case that could be transferred to Federal Court. Federal cases are their own labyrinths.)

Some Group home did contact Chris' attorney as far as i know, so maybe they are preparing him for it. When in a group home, they will have control over Chris' life and will set perimeters. There will be no Sonichu, no toys or shit.

Just imagine the meltdown he had in jail when he found out he wasn't gonna see his toys and internet again anytime soon. Besides, the internet in group homes is so slow, that you it takes forever to load a 5 minute video and Chris would not be able to hog the TV all for himself. They will probably put him on strong medications to shut him up.
I remember the Spamton letter where Chris was convinced he was getting out, and so had written some weird-ass prayer that outright read like Chris himself was demanding LET ME OUT AND GO BACK HOME NOW NOW NOW!
He wrote the prayer down in letters to Spamton and also to Kengle. Just imagine being a guard or inmate having to listen to Chris repeatedly shouting this nonsense over and over. Chris believed he would soon return to 14BC, even writing it as the return address. He was soon committed to Western State Hospital instead.
