Let's be honest here, when has Dax ever tried to expand his audience? He got an audience from the show he did with Maddox, and the only growth to the Dick Show was from other shows having him on to talk about his lawsuit. He did the bare minimum with his own show for years, talking about recent e-drama, doing voicemails, or letters from listeners. Once the IBS e-drama started to dry up he did the bulk of his show off of a prep sheet like morning radio does. I mean, this guy talked about covid almost every week for how many years? He also kept talking about cuties for years, because he had nothing else to talk about. The only half thought out thing he's done was adding the official segment to bitch about fat people.

His show doesn't need to be successful, he gets his money "working" for his dad's company. The show's only purpose is to make himself feel like he's the Prom King again, and tell everyone just how cool he is.
