This is nothing more than thunk-provocation, but what does everyone predict: will DSP persist in his narrative that Craig bears the sin of not believing Phil, that by believing the detractors he revealed himself to be a mentally ill shithead? Or will he backpedal slightly, and say that Sidescrollers are all good guys, but the evil detractors corrupted them?

i think hes gonna go all in on mentally ill. he was already pushing the theory that they went into the interview with an agenda and bitched that they dared talk to detractors but only watched his reaction to the down the rabbit hole video. he was also rather upset that they never talked to the "true and ahnest fans" thats like 3 strikes. though equally thunk provoking, when craig was asking for info only tractors came forward, why didn't any fans give them info? kinda like why are there only negative clips and no positive ones?

The second Craig joined that detractor stream was the second he was dead to DSP. Doesn't matter that Craig bowed out of the vortex or that he was exceedingly fair to DSP, or that he joined because DSP was talking shit about him, Craig is officially a detractor.

So is the drama pretty much done for now? Phil said he won't bring it up again but I could see him flipping out when he hears that Keem might contact his whales or Panda Lee.

This is one of the funniest things about this clusterfuck to me. Phil strung along "two huge youtubers" for months about being interviewed only to waste their time, go with Craig instead and have it all blow up in his face lol.

Phil is going to be up all night. He'll watch that stream and read every comment we post here. He can't help himself, he loves the attention and drama. It'll be interesting to see how he functions in the next few days. I think he'll just silently ban everyone mentioning this in his chat like normal, but we'll see.

Also, this entire thing happened because he was star-struck. He wanted to impress Craig and be friends with him so bad that he walked right into the interview thinking he could convince them he was innocent. He went on and on about how he loved Screw Attack and Craig, and that was his downfall. I think he was being genuine about his adoration for Craig and it hurt him very deeply to see Craig turn against him and call him out.

He wanted to look good in Craig's eyes. He wanted to impress an old role model of his. That's why all this happened. Once again, Phil was his own worst enemy. Night boys.

I wonder if he thought that they would look at what he says, look at what detractors say, ask Phil about it and take that as an okay answer and move on. When that didn't happen, that's probably when, in his mind, he knew he probably shouldn't do a 2nd show with them.

Craig either unlisted or privated the stream he did tonight (the one with Keem, Gundam, etc).

I downloaded a copy of it before anything bad happened, so if anyone wants a copy or knows a DSP related data hoarder I can offload this to.

Edit: As a completely unrelated aside; think we could get Side Scrollers to talk to Ethan Ralph of the Ralph Retort? The only true and honest journalism website that properly covered Gamer Gate? I'm sure that could be high in vidya content and low on drama.
