I'm surprised people in this thread don't shit on Sam's work streams more. It's dead air intermittently broken up by chat reads and a few jokes. About as low effort as you can get.

i was watching it earlier while doing some work on an other monitor but if your just giving it or literally any live stream your undivided attention your a time waster and retarded. only way he could fix it up is by having really in depth topics of conversation each stream but like even then its fucking 3 - 4 hours multiple times a week so like if your not also getting work done while watching it then just don't watch it or literally any stream.

There's a lot of work that goes into each card and it's all original including the backgrounds and sound effects. Sam is working on the final steps and putting his signature effects on it. That's a pretty standard workflow for editing and I'm sure he's putting in way more time and effort than he realistically needs to. That's why I don't believe the project was a troll or whatever people are saying. He could have done that with one tenth of the effort.

Someone on /biz/ broke down the numbers and found they made around $700,000 within the first 24 hours for the NFT drop. They were on track to completely sell out within that time frame but shut it down early for a technical issue. The cards had six different rarity levels, and some 1/1 variants. Someone cracked the randomization algorithm and was able to mint some of the rarest cards each time so they shut it down. If anyone has a more in depth breakdown I'd like to see it.

What does an NFT project require for it to be considered legitimate and not a scheme? That's a genuine question because I don't follow NFTs and don't plan to start anytime soon.

Calling an NFT worthless is just... I mean, it's fucking obvious. Just right click, and save as. But saying Sam's project specifically is a rugpull, I'd like to hear an example of a project that isn't.

that guys retarded, a rugpull is a relatively specific type of scam. a specific example is a dev removing the ability to sell while he dumps his own coins. nfts are an over-hyped bad investment but so are pokemon cards, doesnt make them a rugpull.

His take on Breaking Bad is very similar to Nick's take on Always Sunny and Curb Your Enthusiam, which I don't think has been brought up ITT yet. They don't like these shows because annoying faggots won't stfu about how amazing these shows are, so they've been turned off from watching the show. Most of the people in the comments section were disagreeing with Sam. The comment in the screenshot was was an outlier, posted by a retard. I've seen Breaking Bad and BCS all the way through and it's great. I don't need to review it because everyone already knows. But you're right though. The hype and constant dick riding has turned off a lot of people who will now never be able to enjoy it without a ton of preconceived notions. It's also going to invite a lot of criticism from contrarians just because of how annoying the fanbase is. For example, maybe Marvel movies are good. I'm never, ever going to watch them because of how cringe and gay the fanbase is.

Sam's opinion on Breaking Bad is completely irrelevant to whether or not WP2 will be funny (it will).

Hardly watching a popular tv show but shitting all over it anyways? Didn't know Sam was a /tv/ poster. Seriously though he's definitely trying too hard to hate on it when he really hasn't given it any time but I get where he's coming from because people hype up Breaking Bad as this amazing god tier tv show when in reality it's insanely stupid but that stupidity is what I find entertaining. I agree but breaking bad is one of the worse tv shows to complain about for this (peaky blinders is a great example like sam mentions). Most of those 3rd world sigma grindset videos are clips of the season climax. The one scene out of ten hours of tv where Walt says the cool guy line. Breaking bad was an infamously slow show when it came out and better call Saul was even slower because those moments are so few and far between. Also the last two seasons of GOT were shit cause they ran out of books to adapt and had to rely solely on their writing skills for the first time.

I guess a better example would be that utter goyslop Westworld where the “mystery” is just withholding information from the audience in a way that just makes it lazy and because redditors found out the “mystery” the kikes rewrote it because they got found out for making a show just for redditors.

And yeah Game of Thrones ran out of source material but the two kikes got a Disney deal and half assed everything to get the show over with so they could make a star war. Almost everyone else on the production team pushed for having more seasons and episodes to give it a logical and satisfying conclusion but they refused and just filled it with fan service
