Off-Topic Tranny names

The fat rape-obsessed author of the tranny zombie story 'Manhunt' called himself Gretchen.

I actually knew a cross dresser way before all the people of gender emerged who used to go by Gretchen on MySpace. Dunno if he trooned out.

Anyway; Ember, Meadow, Ivy, Morrigan all spring to mind.
I’ll never understand the fondness for the name Gretchen. It’s about the ugliest name I can think of. See also: Greta.

I've seen lots of MTF troons with the name "Lana", maybe because they like ANAL so much.
Or they're skinwalking yet again:

Suggested names include: Alexei, Atraus, Atlas, Boris, Horus, Zasha, Clove, Ink, Jet, Nyx,
Mordecai, Wren, „I say something with an E, like Eli, Elijah, Eric, Ember even”, Sierra, Kage, Poe,
Bethaniel and Jinx.
I hate terminally online teens so much right now.

Troons name themselves as someone normal would name their cats.
To me, they name themselves like they would their original character of a novel or a new username. They're making a fictitious persona real and by god is their Mary Sue self going to have all the goddamn rights they want!

I had a co-worker who trooned out and wanted everyone to call them "Star". After about 4 months of that they also said when they get their name legally changed, they were changing their last name to "Fox". I don't work with them anymore so I don't know if they went through with it, but if they did, their fucking name is "Star Fox" lmao.

I guess Elliot (along with Oliver and Aiden) have that uwu softboi feel that TIFs want.
Some of the names being thrown around in this thread are completely normal. Connor or Elliot are Troon red flags now?
The common theme seems to be names that are mostly heard on little boys now, who haven't yet matured into the manly macho men the pooners don't want to become. Guys their age are named Daniel, Nathan, Matthew and James, classic, non-trendy and undeniably masculine, which doesn't fit with the TIF ideal of cute androgynous teenage boy, probably wearing an oversized pastel coloured hoodie. It's the exact same reason "he/they" pronouns are so common amongst that lot, rather than trying to imitate a man in every possible way (like the older FTMs e.g. Buck Angel) they're instead going for a weak watered down version of masculinity that's ironically still feminine (albeit not in the same way heavy makeup, miniskirts, heels and all the things they're transitioning to get away from are). More often than not the goal is to escape womanhood rather than become male. At least, that's my theory.
