The difference is Russ applies some knowledge to what he does (e.g., he knows you're supposed to get gifts for women you want to woo; he doesn't understand that a gas station rose isn't equal to a new yacht); he knows the basic steps but not the details that actually make the process work. fwiw, we know that facebook does use automatic algorithmic detection to action people, and it doesn't "get" context. Write a comment that says "shoot her!" under a clip of the opening scene of Jurassic Park and it'll prob get insta-deleted with restrictions dropped on you as if you were trying to incite people to murder instead of quoting a scene
