Dylan James Mulvaney / Days of Girlhood / Day __ of Being a Girl - Dylan Explains It All, a gay man interprets 'girlhood' in all glorious technicolor.

ALERT! I just ran out of CeraVe Foaming Cleanser for oily skin and I can't bring myself to buy a new one, on account of the Dylly affiliation, Anyone recommend a Terf friendly facial cleanser?
Walmart or cvs may have a their brand generic as well. Im not sure which products they do or don't. As someone with sensitive skin dictating narrow choices in face care and makeup im honestly upset at the Dylan list. Sephora is also pro troon but not with Dylan. Este lauder too and they bought the ordinary, again not with Dylan. Aesop is a nice brand without the troonery that I know of but they're expensive, their gentle milk cleanser works for me (their moisturizers not so much...sigh.)

Tldr: they're all troon friendly and i may have to settle for limited engagement with the brands vs a full boycott.

Off topic slightly: I wonder if there's enough if a market for a clean. Sensitive skin beauty line that makes it an absolute point to not engage with troonery. I doubt a full on terf business would work but one that simply declines to engage and any charities are of the actually help women sort....

Dylan spent a day in LA with Rosie O'Donnell, is posting about what he's going to read and showing some "activism".

He also bought some decorative items from Jonathan Adler.

I'm the one from LC who made the antiwomanbrands website. There are dozens of indie brands you could try, but if you're looking for a reliable drugstore brand you can try Cetaphil or Vanicream. Vanicream specifically doesn't seem to have any trans related or social activism posts whatsoever, while Cetaphil had a single facebook post about LGBTQ+. Otherwise just google around and cross check the brands, the Dylan list is up to date so it'd probably be easy. If you're really serious, you can check the parent companies too. Vanicream's parent company is clean, Cetaphil's parent company Galderma does the usual corporate pandering during pride month.

Alright. Serious question. Do you all actually freak out about never buying things from these brands just because they're cashing in on Dylan's popularity? Because those are some tranny tactics.

Oil soap on an oily face?

most soaps (if not all, come to think of it) are made from rendered fat. olive oil is the fat component in a lot of soaps actually. it is also usually known as castile soap LOL. i used to dabble in soap making so...

and the other poster should buy the moisturizer that works, if you let dumb marketing people ruin good brands for you then you would probably never buy anything.

the only way for the trans train to stop is legislation and law suits. even then it will still probably happen b/c of greedy plastic surgeons and a medical industry that LOVES iatrogenic patients.

With all due respect the reason that these companies are willing to shill for Troons and are troon friendly at the least is because they have been trying to market moisturizing products to men for decades.

The reason men traditionally have shunned them is that they are “for girls”.

Now that the current generation of men are fast becoming more girly than women the beauty and cosmetics industry are, pun intended, creaming their pants.

The life of an activist, sperging their grifted money on overpriced designer goods.

So Dylan dresses up pretending to be a "girl" and makes some videos. Is this what makes him an activist? Has he ever been to a pro-trans rally or protest? Has he ever appeared anywhere, apart from a red carpet event, to show he is an LGBetc., etc. activist?

Not that I care about their community just as they don't care for mine.

Sure. But I dont care why they're pro troon. They're pro troon and thats enough for me.
They're probably pro pedo too given how tranny shit is these days and I can completely agree on why and also give no shits. I dont want to give them my money. Relatedly: I refuse to upgrade phones until I habe to and buy used. Child slave labor in China is abhorrent and I can't avoid it but I can minimize my participation. I dont care the justification apple Samsung and every other manufacturer use. Or the excuses. They deal in it and its simple as.

Theres nothing wrong tbh with being a company that only sells to a target demographic. Happens all the time unless it requires acknowledging women as a demographic these days.

That or I need to look around for a kf beauty parlor do your own skin care without the troons and essential oil hons that ruin most other diy communities

Holy shit, I've been blissfully ignorant to this man's existent up until a few days ago. I have never seen someone so fake in my whole fucking life. All this fake, toxic positivity. Acting like being a woman, sorry, a girl, is just about buying beauty products and jumping around in some frilly dresses. Calling vagina a "Barbie pouch". You got out of this "Barbie pouch", you disgusting creep. Targeting children. Revolting.

How the fuck has he lived courageously?

A white man mincing around 21st century cosmopolitan cities of the USA in a dress as public as he is in basically no danger whatsoever.

It’s not like he is popping down to known London cottaging spots in 60s and 70s while teasing gay bashers.

It’s not like he has gone to a Middle East country and tried to “authentically” live as a woman without being detected and stoned to death. Or hung.

It’s not even like he is in a less tolerant Eastern European country where he might have got jeers and a slap, but probably not actually murdered.

This is just ridiculous. Are they just trying to take the meaning out of all words?

AGAIN with the leg up and out pose. Classic stereotypical woman pose. Not once in my life have I ever seen an actual woman do that. He always picks the most sexist aspects/stereotypes he can think of, because he doesn't know how to be a woman.

hm no, but men SHOULD moisturize. everyone should tbf.

Always thought that consumer boycotts were gay and pointless.

However, I can totally understand not wanting to give a dime to companies who support/sponsor this insufferable turbo faggot. Don’t forget to let them know exactly why you don’t want to buy their shit.

If the Indie Makeup and More subreddit is any indication, there are an absolute shitload of troon loving indie companies. The only brand I've seen on there that is specifically called out for not being trans-friendly is POP Polish.

I think the problem is using reddit as a database. This is extremely off topic, but I've always been pretty anti-consumerist and can say that there are a lot of sources for simple, good quality items in any category. The only problem is that the majority of brands nowadays market themselves as sustainable/quality/indie, so whatever companies pay the most get the most attention from social media communities and "15 BEST FACE WASHES MARCH 2023" advertorial articles.

Ignore articles and subreddits, find online shops that market themselves as carrying eco or niche products, and those will be your best bet. Care to Beauty and Credo Beauty are sites from my personal bookmarks that are decent for finding smaller companies. Any really large brand name or super popular indie companies on those sites are probably going to pander to troons, but it's pretty easy to mentally filter them while you browse. I picked a random brand from each of those sites (1, 2) and the brands were fine, it's pretty easy to tell which companies are social media (muh activism) focused. Additionally, I recommend looking at sites that sell foreign brands (eg. Nordic Expat, Olive Young, both just random sites I found), as those typically aren't too bad either (non-troon brands I found from them: 1, 2). Foreign grocery stores often carry some health products too, I personally go to a lot of slavic ones and can reliably grab something to try without having to guess if the company has an ad campaign featuring whatever gender monstrosity is currently popular online. I have some things from Ziaja that I like. All in all, it's pretty easy to find things once you recognize the signs that a brand is targeting young people with #activism vs just making a product. I don't want anyone to feel like it's too hard to find alternative products if they truly want to boycott or change their consumption/health practices. maybe I'll add a subpage to help find stuff if you want to boycott

One thing I have to wonder is what will become of Dylan down the road in let's say 10 years? When she's pushing 40 and her little girl schtick will be more creepy than "cute". I can't see Dylan detransitioning and her ego and desire for attention is too big to let herself fade and go on with her life. Will she fall like Baby Jane Hudson by exaggerating her girly make up, clothes, and mannerisms for attention? Or will it be more like Chris-Chan, retreating into a fantasy world and try to set herself up as the star/goddess again?
