Of course, it says 'taking care of the pets' rather than 'taking care of the kids' because these degenerates don't want to do any of the actual hard work.
They also want to do all that with modern equipment and modern medicine and modern social justice allowing them to be degenerates.

Being a housewife used to be a fulltime job because families had multiple children, and often no access to certain technology caused all chores to take significantly more time and effort than it does now, especially if you were on the less wealthy side of things and couldn't afford things like a basic fridge.
And women poor enough still had to do work on top of doing all the housework and childcare...
