Sorry not to muslim sperg but i feel relevant with a good source. We all know fasting is part of Ramadan. But I was just checking for food for expats etc. You can't expect 5 star guests to fast in Dubai and they don't. (Just like alcohol) However Kuwait doesn't give a fuck for you haram and last year they decreed all cafes and food establishment close up until 2 hours after Iftar! And it is heavily enforced. Expats were talking about how to eat in the airports. Etc.

No wonder she's a hungry beast today. What I really enjoy about this. Is due to her Muslim larp she's going to extra un immune to this shit. If she was just her usual fat westie self, maybe the authorities would take pity. But you are going around with your Muslim husband and a hijab...

Cairo: Kuwaiti authorities have ordered restaurants and coffee shops to observe closure during the fasting hours in the Muslim sacred month of Ramadan beginning next week, a local newspaper has said.

The shutdowns were made in an administrative decree issued by head of the Kuwait Municipality Ahmed Al Manfuhi, Al Jarida reported.

According to the decree, such sites are ordered to shut down during the fasting in Ramadan and allowed to open two hours before the daily fast-breaking time to prepare for their services. just

The paper quoted Al Manfuhi as instructing municipalities across Kuwait to monitor restaurants and cafes and take legal action against violators.

The order takes effect as of the first day of Ramadan expected this year to begin on April 2.

In Ramadan, Muslims have to abstain from eating, drinking and smoking from dawn to sunset.

According to Kuwaiti law, fast-breaking in public during this period is an offence punishable by a maximum one month in prison or a fine of 100 dinars.

Kuwait, a country of around 4.6 million, is home to a large community of foreign workers.

The self defense argument always cracks me up, it's so nonsensical.

Self defense implies stopping a threat to yourself through some action, hurling insults back at someone doesn't do anything to stop them from doing the same. Most bizarre use of "self defense" I've ever heard.

That kind of outfit wouldn't be acceptable attire for the majority of Muslim women in the gulf. If she did wear it, she'd have to wear an Aba over it until she was around other women and in private. Given that Chantal doesn't know other women and only sees Salad, there isn't really any point in her wearing anything other than her Abaya. The other point worth mentioning is that she's clearly jumped headfirst into a more conservative form of Islam, so having an outfit with a hem that high would be inappropriate.

Muslim women in Kuwait are not required to wear abayas. (Nor are they required to cover their hair). They can wear Western clothing, and that outfit would be perfectly acceptable if it came in Chantal's size. Which of course it doesn't.

The Koran says: "O Prophet, tell your wives and daughters, and the believing women, to cover themselves with a loose garment. They will thus be recognised and no harm will come to them."

Chantal's abayas are not loose garments. Her attire would be more in keeping with the Koran if she wore an outfit like the one in the picture than those abayas that fit her like a sausage casing. Moreover, even in countries where women are required to wear abayas, they're not required to do so in the privacy of their own homes with just their husbands. She can wear whatever she wants when she's alone with Salah, even shorts or lingerie.

It will be interesting to see what Western clothing she will start wearing in the next few months since Salah supposedly told her to stop wearing the abayas. As discussed before, Torrid ships to foreign countries, but she is probably bursting out of their largest size. Maybe she can get something on Amazon or have something custom-made in Kuwait. Time will tell.
