I was just looking at the community content area on Steam when I was instantly greeted by this. Smh rice niggers and their underage children obsession.

When I was researching Asian idol culture. I was pretty shocked when I came across mainstream Chinese news articles about a Japanese Idol group. I mean just read it.

soror1.jpg
The concept of Japanese girls is becoming more and more precocious, and even their body development seems to be getting better and better. The average age of the girl group "Sororベイビズ" is only 12 years old, which is equivalent to the age of 6th grade in elementary school. Since their debut, they have followed the "pure and sexy style", although Although they are still young, the members of the group all have super-beautiful figures. Not only do they have super long legs, but the group member Zhong Cun Xinghong even has good abs, which makes many adult women feel inferior.

Later on I discovered an Asian cultural fascination with the Western movie, Leon - The Professional.

Here is IU "the Daughter of Korea" dressed as the 12 year old character from the movie, for a stage show.

Sims 4 is basically Sims 3 but extremely railroaded and lobotomised.

I've been watching the gameplay from the new expansion plus the base game changes. They are trying to add SIms 2/3 elements. But as I watched people play, things were just buggy as hell. Actions cancelling multiple multiple times in a row, sometimes outright ignoring actions until they completed autonomous actions. Then people noted that the new likes/dislikes didn't take into account traits or lifestyles. So you could be a Lazy sim, that also loved active lifestyle. Or a sim with the loves the outdoors trait, with the indoorsy lifestyle, and then through the likes/dislikes system hate the outdoors, and love being a homebody.

So the whole thing seems like just a bandaid on top of a bandage on top of a cast. I can't imagine what the codebase looks like behind the hood it's probably a fucking disaster.

thats kinda the problem sims players had with infants originally. they basically did nothing. they were objects till they hit the child stage until the toddler update, and they still did fuckin nothing
Back in the day, they were just objects. They were the bassinet.
Baby_crib_in_TS1.jpg
It'd spawn in if two sims kissed too much (or if they used the vibrating sex bed, but regular beds didn't have that option). Sims had to interact with the bassinet but the baby didn't even count as a household member until it turned into a child after a few days.

Oh, and that child would never grow up because there was no aging, and would be completely randomly generated because there were no genetics. There was a really janky mod that implemented aging and even invented sims teenagers, but the sims teenagers looked like slenderman (I remember being terrified of teenager Cassandra Goth)

Unrelatedly custom content used to be very crappy in TS1. The only thing that was 3D was the sims themselves; all objects were 2d sprites, one sprite for each isometric angle. If Maxis Match vs Alpha is bad, you can imagine Maxis Match vs Isometric Pixel Art vs "I pasted the same photograph in for all four sprites".

It got so bad with TS4 that a recent game pack, "My Wedding Stories", which is specifically about making elaborate weddings for your sims... doesn't work. 9 times out of 10 the sims are unable to get married. There's been a couple of patches but it just constantly breaks. Similar deal with "Dine Out" - the restaurants consistently don't work.

The devs didn't program those features, with other ones in mind, compared to how past Sims 2 and 3 expansions even took other expansions into account. Apparently, The Sims team for TS4 is (or was, given that most of the team is working on Project Rene) is divided up into three teams. One designs the expansion packs (and I think maybe game packs as well), one designs stuff packs (which have been discontinued) and kits, and the last team works on game updates, i.e. bug fixing. The issue is that those three teams don't seem to communicate with each other well, which results in things such as all of the added game systems not synergizing with each other.

true but we're not in the sims 1 days anymore. the players expect more from their dumb life sim game

Everyone in that post, aside from the last sane person that got downvoted, are the people who constantly bitch about EA releasing unpolished, broken, buggy expansion packs
but then completely forget about it and go back to bootlicking EA, because they released a zippertits cosmetic or have a tranny sim. Literally inoperable.

Anyways, I decided to check up on who the tranny sim is and...

After the new patch for TS4 (and the Growing Together EP) released, it broke a lot of mods for the game. That resulted in people rushing to ask when mods will be updated, or how to fix the game. It was to the point that the Sims After Dark and Deaderpool Discords went on break, due to the sheer amount of people asking questions:

Even /r/thesims went private briefly, due to all of the people asking questions.

So this is the end result of what happens to a community that fails to gatekeep. If MATY were in it's prime today, they would have had a field day of roasting people that don't know how to read a manual.

I don't even know what to make of the reddit sims community. People post about bugs they are having, and the first thing people ask them is "so do you have any mods?". 99.9% of the time they have a hundred mods and cc running, and somehow don't think that may fuck with something? The game barely function even without mods. Now you gonna fuck with that?

The other thing that irks me is the people who post. "OMG look what happened in my game, thats never happened before!" and the first or second comment is "That's not in the game, it's a mod you just installed."

May as well make a seperate subreddit, since people are playing such heavily modded games, they are virtually playing a different version of the Sims. I don't know how the community can get some perspective on what the problems with the actual game is. Because the community is perfectly willing to just pile on mods upon mods. So EA doesn't have to do shit. It's free labor.

You love The Sims 4? You aren't even playing the Sims 4. It's virtually a Sims 4 codebase outsourced to amateur programmers and artists. You are playing some customized Frankenstein Monster built on top of the skeleton of the Sims 4.

This isn't just the Sims. Loads of people say they love a game, then they tell you they modded it out the ass.

They do have the ATF Mod. They are on the forums. I'm undercover seeing if they do more disgusting shit.

They are, they are planning on adding infants to that mod.

Why does it specify "attracted to men and women"? I thought Sims hadn't had sexualities programmed in since day 1, and any Sim could be attracted to anyone. Has that changed?
The Sims gender attraction functions differently in each game. In The Sims 1, it's like you described.
In The Sims 2 it's where it gets bit autistic, where not only turn ons and offs play a part.

In Sims 2 gender preference was set on scale of -1000 to 1000.
Basically, if I remember correctly if a sim has -10 points towards females they will have a distaste
for women and will go for dudes more. You can make your sim a fruit by simply having them interact romantically
with a same sex/gender sim, vice versa goes if you want to convert your fruit sim to a straight sim.

Freshly created sims, townies tend to have a 0 in that department (which is neutral to both genders).
If freshly created sim are paired with a spouse, their preference will be set to their spouse's gender.

Sims 3 gender preference had a similar system to 2.

Sims 4 on other hand had no autism like Sims 2 aside from gender attraction
increasing if romantic interactions are successful. You can literally change the sim's sexual orientation through a dresser or mirror.

Nothing changed really, the only thing that's changed is Sims 4 devs trying to virtue signal about a feature
that has been since the beginning of the game's series and wasn't even implemented by them, because they know that outside all this alphabet pandering, their
game is a mediocre disappointment that paywalls the most basic content that you had for free, in the first three previous games.

Why else do people think they are pushing this shit so hard?

mop it up
