YouTubers you hate that everyone else likes

There's another YouTuber I hate who atypically falls on the opposite side of the political spectrum — The Little Platoon, who spends so much of his reviews railing against woke Hollywood creatives for inserting gratuitous politics in their works that he feels compelled to insert his own gratuitous politics in a review about Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

But keep in mind, he's not criticizing Killmonger or some other strawman for spouting BLM-pandering bullshit. That would be fine. No, he segues into a clearly bullshit topic of some people comparing supporting Jews to nazism. And he brings up a screenshot of Twitter users saying that supporting the State of Israel is tantamount to supporting nazism, with no mention or implication of the strawman, and he then calls them "mad".

So, he equates Jews with Israel, and tacitly strawmans activists for a cheap gag, just to shit on them while interrupting the flow of his video. This isn't about the Israel-Palestine conflict. Whatever his public position is, it's not my problem. What is my problem is his shoving an unsolicited political opinion down my throat in a review that had no relevance to it.

Why alienate your audience when they're all just watching you for your movie reviews? Even viewers who do agree with him will find themselves annoyed because it's their downtime he's detracting from.

I wonder if he thinks criticizing the Chinese Communist Party or Cartels is evidence that one hates Chinese people or Mexicans. Better yet, does that same logic apply to BLM? But hey, everyone knows it's not bad when conservatives use woke tactics. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised when he's friends with the EFAP lolcows.

Bit of a weird one but GhenryPerez started to grate on my nerves with how hard he was sucking off Suda for No More Heroes 3. And of course now that he has the smallest crumb of fame makes shitty digs to own le chuds in his videos.

That's not weird at all. I've watched some of him and I totally get what you mean. In his No More Heroes 3 analysis video, he pulled a MattPatt when analyzing the name of one of the series' staple bait-and-switch ranked jobbers. (Vanishing Point - The Memory Thief). Despite the character being an obvious generic throwaway. Perez thought there was so much meaning in his nickname and concluded that it was supposed to be an allegory for dictatorships "erasing" the truth from the public.

Then he played a clip of paid activists destroying statues and chastised his viewers for thinking that's the same. So, not only is he a pretentious fop, but he's also a vandalism apologist, 'cause nothing says social justice like making blue-collar workers clean up your messes supposedly in their name.

He's been using same voice tones for years, same barely present editing, same music singe fucking track for all his videos. I am not kidding, you can take a video he made a year+ ago and a video he made last week and they will be basically identical! If just reading articles and Wiki pages about certain crimes wasn't enough, he has a channel about tragic events in history and guess what? His research is even worse, so he basically spreads bullshit which people gladly consume. And AFAIK at least Wendigoon didn't constantly cry that YT is mean and doesn't want to monetize videos about cartel executions and cannibalism. Also, for some reason he has, I shit you not, a video about Nikokado, where he basically tells that he eats himself to death without calling him out on any of his shit. I am not joking, his channel looked like this - grizzly mass murder, terrible case of murder and mutilation, A FAT MAN CRIES ON CAMERA, child gets tortured and killed. What a shill.

RLM. Wasn't a big fan of them, but still after their Plinkett review of Force Awakens it became apparent to me what fags they really were. They nitpicked EVERYTHING in prequel trilogy, yet in their video about that trash they barely even tried and more than a half of it is just bitching that "why do people try to say that prequels weren't that bad these days?" And all of this while they called Anakin a terrible protagonist, who gets everything given to him, you know, just like Rei only not that bad.

SsethTzeentach. His latest videos are terrible, I wasn't even able to watch them till the end. What makes it worse is that his videos from five years ago are still hilarious. Now it feels like some redditor with his voice has taken over the channel and is awkwardly trying to joke in the same edgy style, now he is basically your run of the mill reviewer only with a sprinkle of /pol/. What a fucking shame.

TheRightOpinion. His voice and style are fucking terrible - he uses 100 words where he could've used about 30, he goes on tangents without catching a breath and him talking non-stop gives me a headache. His level of research is also shit - this man got tricked by Quinton of all fucking people into attacking Mauler's furry buddy Rags for the things that he didn't actually say. His video on YandereDev is just... He brushes off all the accusations against him and makes it seem like "Alex is a good boi who dindu noffin and just wasn't ready for fame". If I didn't know for sure, I'd assume that it was Alex who asked him to make this one, but he ended up calling it "a clickbait drama" and probably filed a report against it. Something tells me that his other videos aren't any better, but I don't hate myself enough to check them out. Nevermind the fact that anyone who still unironically uses a cartoon avatar for 90% of the length of their video is a faggot. No exceptions.

This is not "Comprehensive history" this is OCD mixed with autism and he didn't even try to change direction even a little, this is literally the worst aspect of CWCwiki in a video form now.

Same here, and they're my personal pick for this topic. For some reason I hear them praised all the time, and yet... well I remember trying them back when they were getting big for their Star Wars Prequel videos and just.... what I heard was a man with a droning voice I could barely comprehend who would occasionally go into random tangents about fucking cats or jokes that he keeps women locked in basements. Then at some point he got buttmad that someone did a PDF document responding to his review and I just kinda checked out.

I dunno, maybe they got better after that, but what I saw didn't leave a good taste in my mouth.

Compare one of his more recent videos with when he first started out on YouTube.

REALLY going all in on that Peter Griffin voice and not in a good way.

Likewise with youtube voices, Chuggaaconroy's setup in his recent Let's Play is actual shit where I can audibly hear the reverb when he shouts and screams and it is REALLY not doing him any favors.

Which is jarring because for most of his let's plays his recording set up was fine enough as is, so why he has it where it makes him sound annoyingly louder I really want to know so that I could tell him outright "dude your recording setup is shit."

My problem isn't really with him but his fans. So many faggots in the Disturbing Movie Iceburg saying how the people making these movies are all sick fucks and wondering how anyone could enjoy them when they literally clicked on the fucking video and made it get several million views.
He's in that category of normie tier youtubers that have fucked up the horror scene by introducing NPCs to the shit when there's people that have a genuine passion for that stuff like Horrible Reviews who thankfully haven't gained the same shitty reddit fanbase but deserve a lot more credit for exposing people to the genre.

I don’t know if it was the bitching about “problematic” elements in old ass horror movies, his insistence on having his wife on the channel (And she may be a really nice lady IRL, but this shit rarely works out, nobody’s here for you.), the podcast just being bad (again, mostly because of his wife), or the fact he seems really thirsty for actual fame that turned me off, but a while ago I just quit watching and never went back. It just seems like he’s less interested in actually making the kill counts now and more interesting in meeting celebrities and showing his subscribers how cool he is because he got to meet said celebrities.

I wouldn’t be suprised if he eventually goes the Babish route of shoving a majority of the videos off onto someone else while still being the “face” of the channel because he still wants that sweet content creator money but doesn’t actually want to work anymore.

Yeah that's my main problem with James Also he would constantly complain about female deaths being brutal ignoring the fact that men also died pretty brutal deaths in the movies he reviewed. So it made no sense to me.

Compare to Dr. Wolfula whose catchphrase I absolutely love when he describes someone dies in brutal way (rather man or woman) "Savage as fuck!!" Dude knows what genre he's watching and reviewing. And clearly enjoys it unlike James who seems uncomfortable or constantly apologizing for the movie he's reviewing.
