Oh Tony! She's just delaying the inevitable.

I hate to derail from the fascinating realm of Nebraskan legislative procedure & from Tony's painfully obvious need to invest emotional energy into future disappointment, but:

(I challenge Tony to explain anything about this supposed law that outlawed child transition, something Tony implies did not yet exist, when it was enacted and when it was repealed... edit: if Tony simply means that parents could not "correct" children's records then he should probably attempt to explain cases like David Reimer)

This made me curious about David Reimer. I wasn't immediately punished for using wokipaedophilia, as this article seems ok:

But then I failed to resist my genuine curiosity to follow this link:

whose introductory summary informs us that:

This utter retardation was my due punishment for being too lazy to check a credible source.

Tony's mindless blathering about parental rights is shamelessly duplicitious. His belief in parental rights ends the moment the parent does not support the delusion of transgenderism. In that circumstance, Tony believes that a kid should either be able to troon out on their own without parental consent or that entities such as schools and social services organizations should be able to summarily overrule the parent's right and troon the kid out themseleves and withold that information from the parents. Even worse, gap tooth thinks that states like California and Minnesota should be able to take physical custody of the kid, remove them from the state, and troon them out in a foreign state out of the parent's reach.

Oh look, gap tooth just crashed and burned again.

Just came to a vote, cloture vote passed today and the filibuster is over from my understanding. It needed 33 votes for cloture, it got exactly 33 votes. The Democrats really thought 3 weeks wasn't enough of that shit.
Thing is, it wasn't just Cavanaugh, it was the whole bunch of them, they'd introduce to bracket push the date back to May, this gave them 10 minutes to speak, at the end of the 10 minutes they'd then withdraw the motion to bracket the bill.
This was done at least 5 times today.

The term 'cured' is only used in a certain context: "A cure is when a treatment makes a health problem go away and it's not expected to come back"
Tranny Sideshow has documented tons of cases where post-op patients still experience dysmorphia, so not a cure, even depression and anxiety are not 100% curable.

That is some pretty serious cope. Of course, it is all delusional bullshit.

The bill passed the cloture vote to stop the filibuster 33-16. This included all 32 republican senators and Omaha democrat Mike McDonnell. Passing the cloture vote allowed the bill to pass with a 30-17 vote. The three senators who changed their vote after the cloture vote include Omaha Senator Christy Armendariz who voted against LB 574 advancing and Senators Jana Hughes and Tom Brandt and who declined to vote.

This does lead to some amusing… quirks of language I guess? For instance, no credible physician will claim to have cured someone’s cancer, even though obviously many people have been successfully treated for cancer and gone on to have normal lives, because recurrence is basically unpredictable. We have however managed to cure HIV by accident in cases involving bone marrow transplants for cancer.

The great thing about ”gender affirming medicine” is, even if the patient necks themselves a year to the day after getting an amhole or rotdog installed, you can call that year a success, and put down all the shit that lead up to the suicide as just transphobia.

It's crazy to me that, in a legislature with a very short session, a member would be willing to “burn this session to the ground” over their opposition to a single Bill. Is there not other business to discuss? Other constituents' needs to be met? It just strikes me as being profoundly anti-democratic.

Anyway, Tony's politics are based on opportunism and not principle, so he fully endorses trashing an entire legislative session:

the endgame of politics is promises for payment. not doing anything meaningful is just a day in the life for legislators.

Lets say the filibuster was still going and some Democrat in Nebraska wanted to present a bill that would make it illegal to deny transwomen access to women's public bathroom and domestic violence shelters, but it can't be brought forth because of the filibuster. Does Tony stick to cheering on the filibuster or does he ask for the filibuster to be ended because that other bill is more important?

Montana just voted to ban "Gender Affirming Healthcare" for minors -65 Aye- 35 No, 2nd reading.
Notable because this is where Gaptooth's partner is a State Representative at.

A Major L for 'Gobbo-bf'

He used his speech to essentially be on the verge of tears the entire time, turns out Gobbo is left handed which is interesting since Gaptooth loves to bring out the "left handedness" chart all the time.

Interestingly one of the Democrat Rep's told a story of their friends child who "started hormone therapy FAR too late" and how "irreparable damage" has been done to the child's body because it was left too long, goes on to state how this child was in 7th Grade (12-13) when starting hormones.

Troons cheerleading time-wasting and anti-democratic processes, as expected. Scenes when she gets booted out and replaced by someone who'll pass it without a second thought.
