One of my favorite clips of Jazz is when he thinks is quirky that he says "I'm a very, very hungry girl". No honey, you're a boy. And Jeanette should know too, as a mother of two boys (as I am), that they are like a black hole of food when they're teens. If Jazz wasn't treated like a girl, he wouldn't have to hide the food he's eating. My nephew even got his own mini fridge in his bedroom. The hoarding is more worrying that the food itself.

It's not his fault. Victims of abuse repeat the abuse. He's also been groomed. To hold him accountable of what he's doing, he first needs to understand what is wrong with him and he hasn't yet come to that realization.

Then once you get that person away from the bad influence, you need a support network for them. First phase is going to be the difficulty in understanding what was done to them, but the second will be the realization of what they themselves have done. A lot of people never reach that second one.

I've seen bigger channels, like Tim Pool, Sydney Watson, Brett Cooper, etc covering Jazz lately. It's a shame they all seem to approach it from that one clip where Jazz talks about being all over the place and sad. I wish they would have had one of their assistants watch a couple of the newer episodes. Because not only is she still depressed despite his numerous surgeries, but his natural biology is still coming through. Not only is he gaining weight, but he's ballooning up like a man. He's also enjoying going out on dates with women more than with men.

If he wakes up and realizes what has been done to him, not only is he going to be in a world of significant pain and trauma, he might lose the support of his family. Would it be possible to find happiness after that much trauma, stuck in a mutilated body with no escape? I mean he can't even have a hope of a good sex life to look forward to in either case, And he's probably going to have a lot of trouble finding a date no matter what.

When I watched one of those videos, I got a lot similar suggested, all recent. And I realised nothing stops Jazz from watching them and he's not emotionally prepared to face this reality.

Putting aside for a moment the tragedy that it would be that Jazz kills himself (I think none of us wants that), this is gonna become another crusade to censor the internet, despite what these people are saying is the accurate truth about Jazz Jennings. It's not our job to wake Jazz up, but it's not our job to protect him either.
