Two 8-month-old pit bulls that were loose in Nanaimo attacked several children, severely injuring at least one. Other people that came to aid the children were also injured.

The children were playing in a yard at the house of one of their friends. The dogs were from somewhere else in the neighborhood and had been cited for being at large previously.

One of the owners of the dogs came and got the dogs but did not stick around. The news interviewed the other owner, a Dangerhair that looked to be in her late 40s or early 50s. While she was devastated at what her dogs had done, she said to the reporter, "People are saying, look at this from the prospective of a parent, well, these dogs are my kids, too," and then she broke down crying.

It was later reported both dogs were euthanized, as there have been other incidents prior to this one, and due to the severity of the injuries the one particular child sustained.

To the dangerhair dog owner I would have to say, "If these dogs were your KIDS, you did a lousy job of raising them. Thank heavens you didn't spawn any of your own."

Well, I saw some known based Twitter trolls messing in the replies to pitbull videos from known pitbull apologist video mill The Dodo, and ended up getting into the shitbull hatejerk because goddamn, pit nutters are a fucking cult.

This was posted 2 days ago in r/banpitbulls but some internet tough guy nutter spammed the obligatory "you're an edgy 13yo virgin fat kid in the internet without mom's permission im gonna tell them" that's so trendy between soyfaggots lately, and then they deleted it because of the "nigger suicide by cop" joke. Had to dig it out from the Wayback Machine.

Girl, 6, mauled by pack of dogs while playing on street as brave pedestrians fought them off

Hero witnesses desperately tried to save a little girl, aged 6, as she was attacked by a pack of five dogs on a Greater Manchester street yesterday.
Neighbours have spoken of the shocking moment another young girl and a man can be seen trying to rip the dogs off the little girl on Ackers Lane in Trafford. The girl, who was unconscious is then picked up by a woman said to be her mum and carried to safety.
Video of the horrific incident seen by The Mirrorshows five American bully dogs attack the child as she laid on the floor. Blood can be seen on the floor where the girl was, as the dogs disperse.

The child was rushed to hospital by ambulance, where she remains in a stable condition. Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said they arrested three people on suspicion of owning a dangerous dog, who have now been released on bail.
It is not known why the dogs turned on the girl, but residents on the street said they were aware that a family were "breeding dogs" in the area.

One man, who asked not to be named, told the Mirror: "I have seen two big dogs on the street a lot, they are American Bullys. It's scary that this has happened here. She was just playing out and then this has happened to the poor little girl."
On Sunday, GMP said three people were arrested on suspicion of owning a dangerous dog following the incident on Ackers Lane in Carrington, Manchester. The force said it was called to an address at around 2.40pm and seized four dogs.

A police spokesperson said: "Shortly before 2.40pm [on Sunday] police were called to a report of a child who had suffered injuries caused by dogs at an address on Ackers Lane, Carrington.
"The girl was taken to hospital and is in a stable condition. Four dogs were seized by officers and have been taken away by specialist partners. Three people have been arrested on suspicion of owning a dangerous dog."

The UK has a law called The Dangerous Dog Act which bans 4 breeds of fighting dog, including pitbulls. Staffordshire Bull Terriers (staffies) didn’t fall under the legislation so for around 20 years from about 2000 onwards they were the dog of choice which filled the pibble niche in our society (ie fighting breed with a high likelihood of biting your face off with no warning, beloved by wannabe hard men and idiot dog mummies). It got to the point where staffies were the main dog in shelters and were responsible for the most deaths and maulings in the UK.

In the last few years (probably due to influencers) American bullies/ XL bullies have become popular amongst the same chavvy demographic of absolute arseholes. The problem with the Dangerous Dogs Act is it doesn’t actually define what a pitbull is so American Bullies are able to be sold legally despite being a fucking rebranded pitbull. They are also much larger than our previous canine menace the staffie and because they’re trendy on the internet and exotic in the UK, are able to be sold for thousands and are now being used as a money laundering front for gangs.

If a show-trained pitbull cannot resist the urge to bite another dog, it's the fucking breed. If you have to train a dog not to maul every dog in sight, it's the breed.

This old lady almost lost her life to a neighbor's pit several years ago and she's very lucky to be alive. I can't imagine living through this kind of trauma. PL kinda but someone in my family is currently going to school to be a vet and I remind her all of the time about how much a severe cat bite and a shitbull encounter isn't worth it and to find a different career path lol. Yup.
Every dog aggression situation I've had (where my dogs or me have needed medical attention) there's been a Staffy involved and a chavvy wanker yelling that it's my fault his dog broke a tooth on my arm.
But for the last couple of years that's only because I get us the fuck out of the way if I see an XL Bully on the horizon.
They are seriously frightening shark eyed monsters and even if their underclass overlord deigns to leash them they are more than strong enough to drag a normal human handler clear across the park.

Everyday I carry, which is everyday, I pray for two things
1. I don't have to use it on a person but if so then I hope they don't suffer.
2. I do have to use it on a shitbull and I get to see it thrash around in horrible pain as it bleeds out.
