Uhh, naw.
I polled a lot of my friends once after reading something written not by her but by someone basically pushing the same idea, that ignorance of the shape and function of the clitoris leads to malpractice. I asked about a dozen people, men and women (I make it sound weird but it wasn't) what shape they think the clitoris is. And they all said either, it's shaped like a bean, or it's shaped like an internal penis.
When I said no, and showed them a diagram, that was news to them.
(tldr version I was playing a lot of a board game with an oddly shaped piece that strongly resembles a clitoris and would ask "what does this look like to you" and then "what do you think a clitoris looks like" etc etc I'm not weird)
So that ignorance extends to doctors too. And then a plastic surgeon, particularly a male one, may be asked to operate on the vulva and go, oh there's this bulb of flesh inside the left and right of your vaginal wall, haha gross let's get rid of that...
