The editors/writers that the higher ups hire to rewrite shit is actually there to ensure something gets a mass appeal. Sure they do a lot of stupid decisions sometimes, especially if there are too many of them on one project, but mostly they know what will likely succeed and what will not.
The original Star Wars is a great example at this, being restrained by budget and people reeling in some of George Lucas most wild ideas (like not making the Lightsaber the default weapon of Stormtroopers, making the rare appearance of them more of a wow factor). And why the Prequel Triology bad, thinking that the original movies was all George Lucas and therefore not telling him "no".
Russ will flip the fuck out and sue when the higher ups tells him that his script sucks and starts to rewrite it to something at least semi-comprehensible.

He tried to get #Swifted going. He asked for other people to come forward with their stories of how Taylor Swift had hurt them. No one did. She may have been a mean girl in high school, but her public image that she's carefully cultivated over the course of her career is a kind, caring person. Maybe she's a raging bitch in private, but she could an angel in human form and she STILL would have had to turn down his "song."

He's done many things I find hilarious. But I think the most hilarious thing he's done is pack up and move to Las Vegas because he was going to audition for a talent show that had a Vegas residency as its prize. He hadn't even auditioned yet when he moved, but he was so sure he had a good shot he did it. I think he hasn't moved anywhere else because he can't afford to. I share the opinion of other posters in this thread that his next move was to move to the LA area so he could be near the movie studios and recording studios. It would not be out of character for Russ to think he could just walk into a studio office and make a pitch. He probably found out how expensive LA is which is why he hasn't mentioned moving there.

We never did get confirmation that he's banned from auditioning for AGT again did we? Russ runs in cycles. His brothel kick seems to have lost steam, so I wonder if he'll circle back around to appearing on AGT again.

He thinks every guy would be a regular customer of the brothels if they were more widespread. He not only thinks that, he has implied he believes most guys have paid for sex at least once in their lives. He thinks he's superior to them because he's open about his sexual practices whereas most guys hide it. I seriously believe he has no idea how bizarre and off-putting he comes across as.
