Ukrainian Defensive War against the Russian Invasion - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

I suspect we might see a lot of these in preparation for May 9 parade which is just month-ish away, it's a big deal for vatniks.
They might go full WW2 theme this year because they're running out of modern (by their standards) armor kek
Didn't they scale back last year compared to the year prior?

Yeah, and I remember everyone expecting "something big" instead. This year might end up looking even more humble.
Victory Day is THE biggest thing for Russian war cult. Considering the lack of, well, VICTORIES, it's starting to look embarrassing. Last year you could already tell how uncomfortable it was for Putin to stand there and how unhappy people around him were. A year later? Bound to be hilarious.
Expect another muh evil West lunatic rant and copious amounts of copium.

Oh, would you look at that

But this isn't even the dilemma. There's nothing we've had to forgo because of what we're spending on Ukraine. For example, those who say we should instead be protecting our own border seem to believe that were it not for these Ukraine expenditures, we'd have the money to build the wall (or something). But in fact it would change nothing; the border is open because Biden and his enablers want it open.
Same thing with the economy.
The economy is shit because COVID lockdowns ("hey just turn of the economy for a few months, it'll be fine!") and MONEY PRINTER GO BRRRRRRR!!! policies, not because vast gigillionaire overlord Putin is starving the west.

oh no culdronbros...

Just two more weeks!
The Bakhmut Saga will never not be amusing.

People need to understand that maintaining support from the West is more vital that 100 Leopards. And the West is full of contradictions and inner struggles, and quite unreliable, which should be fixed, without assuming that it will just last forever as a hegemonic force.
The seeds were already sown with allowing retarded trannies to run banks into the ground, now anyone with any money (including Britain) is paying for stuff in alternative currencies to teh dollars; Rupees, Yuan etc.

Citation needed.
I've had a look. I find a lot of references to a list of 21 or 23 countries that have supposedly stopped trading in dollars, but they all point to dead links from 2012 or earlier (why people don't archive shit, I have no idea). From what I can tell, a lot of central banks set up currency swaps (essentially loan agreements, denominated in the lending party's currency and accompanied by an agreement to reverse the trade at the same exchange rate at a later date) after the 2008 financial crisis, then formalised the system into a permanent set of agreements that meant they had a way to cover local currency shortfalls. It didn't mean they were dropping the dollar, but rather that they were arbitraging default risks. The US was a major proponent of this arbitrage, as it was initially, massively exposed to the default risks of other countries banking systems in the immediate aftermath of the 2008 crash.

Swap lines alone aren't a sign that countries are dropping the dollar for trade. They may be a sign of a country trying to increase use of its own currency for trade, which is why China has made so many agreements with other countries, but they're also a sign that a country is anticipating internal instability and wants to be able to draw on the reserves of another country at speed.

The USD will stop being the world's reserve currency one day, simply because everything has to end one day. Predicting its imminent end is a fool's game.

privately owned? you can privately own main battle tanks in russia? kinda based ngl
You can own one in the UK, though it can't have a working gun and you can't drive it on the road, because there's no way to license it. The former is relatively easy to fix if you know what you're doing, and the latter... who's going to stop you? But of course, nobody would do that. It's rude.

In EU you also can have a private MTB. Why not?

Bad guy with a MTB can be forced to stop by a good guy with a MTB.

Some of them are still pissy about the fact that they never managed to wrest control of India from the British empire.
God, can you imagine the clusterfuck that would follow if the British let the Russians have India? I doubt the Russians understood logistics back then any better than they do now and they lacked the ability to supply their forces over multiple oceans like the British did. Jesus, they didn't even have trains back when The Great Game was a major feature of geopolitics.

Another week and another distinct lack of any mention of Bakhmut on russian state media, and now it seems the russia shill sphere suddenly lost interest in this war winning, history making, hegemony forging victory over NATO and globohomo

Guess we better file it away with the chechen supersoldiers, the convoy of doom, general winter, general armageddon, the sekrit US offer to give russia 20% of ukraine a few months back, the NATO generals about to be captured in the depths of Azovstal, the gorillions of NATO mercenaries who have been fighting and dying and feeding and sneeding on the front line since week 1 after ukraine's military was wiped out......fucking christ theres a lot of these

But hey Im sure that uh... the petrorubleyuan?.....ok sure lets go with that....the petrorubleyuan is gonna kick in any day now and annihilate the west's economies, and the undisclosed, unhinted at, but surely massive and game changing support china sekritly assured russia of hits the battlefield and results in its swift annexation within mere days

The new cope upload will be that the incompetent Hohols can never break through glorious Russian defense lines. Russia always excels on the defense. Defense is what the Russian Armies tanks are meant for.
