Troons only like Dark Souls/Soulsborne games for the gender breaking stereotypes. Mind you, there are actually ways to change your sex in game. They're drawn to it because of characters like Gwyndolin, who was "raised" a girl because of his association with lunar magic. He was ostracized because of it and only near the end did he reconcile with his father. Nowhere does Gwyndolin actually enjoy being referred to as a woman. He's still viewed as a "trans icon."

I always felt like they love FromSoft games because they're "hardcore". They're just niche enough for real gamurz (hyperfixated autistics) to feel a degree of heightened status as a result of having perceived good taste. You can see the same phenomenon in any subculture- Music, visual art, literature, politics. I imagine it like a centrifuge, where the heaviest substance ends up at the bottom, concentrating everything into one layer into which a tranny can nestle, comfortable among the like-minded degenerates they call friends.

Gwyndolin also hides from the player character because his physical form is considered repugnant. To convince you to go along with his plans, he uses an illusion of his sister–a giantess goddess with massive tits. Sound like anything else?

The whole Gwynevere bit is obvious fanservice, but the in-universe explanation is that he's trying to hide that the game world's going through a Tolkienesque "the gods are dead/weary" type deal. Without sperging out too much more for the non-Souls-autists in the crowd, it's complex and really ambiguous. How does Gwyndolin actually feel about his dad and how he was raised? Is he really resentful and just trying to maintain the current divine hierarchy as best he can because he's the top dog right now? Or does he love his father despite his flaws? He's literally a god, son of the Zeus equivalent, and the player character is sort of reviled, so there is no reason for the game to directly expound upon his thoughts.

The Fromsoft game world chronolgy and history gets insanely fuckin' complicated and is very open to interpretation, but it's also really low stakes vs. something that actually matters, like actual real-world science, engineering, or its closest analogue in theology, so it's something both troons and us normal spergs can go really deep on.

Gotta love the "I FUCKING LOVE SCIENCE" type who "could understand bone diameter reduction" from HRT but can't wrap his mind around length reduction, which is, incidentally, not really what is going on in these cases, either.

It's almost like the people who are the loudest about cross-sex hormones being a human right have very little understanding of the mechanism of action of the drugs they're claiming to be life-saving. I'm honestly surprised more Trannies don't attach themselves to Marina from Fear and Hunger: Temina. Born a boy, was raised as a girl by their mother to avoid their fate as being put into a church dedicated to an old god (Which was also a cult to all the old gods, maybe?). Father is a priest that misgenders them to their face when other people are around. Raised to be a powerful occultist instead. They eventually come to love dressing as a girl and feels it to be more natural.

You find out later that The father was actually trying to keep away Marina from the whole Termina festival and considers them female as he dies a painful death.

He was definitely not as tall as he thinks from the start. He just rounded up his height like men do or was in denial about it. Now he identifies as a woman so he will be more honest or even round down his height as that's now his preference.
