I'm a spit and sawdust sort of bloke so I have very little knowledge of this stuff but couldn't Tony be doing a whole lot more with his hair? This flattened, scraped down front and scruffy flared sides seems particularly unfeminine.
Hairdressing is clearly a highly technical art these days, when you see women in the public eye they have amazing hairdos, couldn't he be doing a lot more here?
It seems like he doesn't even go to a proper hair dresser.
I wonder what a real hairdresser could do with him, do we have one on here?
He's doing that faggot thing where he's doing what he thinks women do but he's not doing it correctly. Troons don't look like guys with long hair because they're trying to replicate the girls styles without figuring out how to do it and with half the work or less. That's why you get the uncanny valley where it looks terrible from both standards and the troons who just grow longer hair and not fuck with it usually even look better.
I don't think it's much of a coincidence that in the troons who do feminine looking hair and it doesn't look like absolute shit are performers like Contrapoints or that shitty Stacey Cay comedian. They're willing to put in the time for the specific look and they're also probably willing to listen to women to know how to get the look because they actually care about the performance aspect of troonery. The other 99% of troons have none of the patience or interest in this. Factor in how most troons have absolute shit hygiene and one of them just not totally fucking up their general hair care goes a long way. Tony, and a lot of troons, have worse looking hair than dudes with longer hair who just roll out of bed because they're running late. The comedic part is that you know they're probably spending hours on it getting "advice" from other troons none of whom know how to do it properly.
Also funny is how they incessantly demand access to women's spaces but salons already allow anyone to walk in and say what they want no matter how much of a fucking weirdo they are so they aren't interested in accessing those spaces unless they can find out that they aren't wanted in a specific one. (If you think salons aren't fine with LGBT weirdos being LGBT weirdos you apparently haven't been seen one above the level of SuperCuts. There's been TV shows, Tabitha's Salon Takeover was on for years, showcasing this.)
This tweet is not even wrong.
First, the original is not a claim you can debunk by pointing to the DSM, especially because we should probably assume the person is not claiming "transgenderism is a recognized mental illness by an important field work" but rather "transgenderism
should be considered a mental illness" in particular because we don't know how the person is defining "transgenderism" nor do we know that the DSM-5 lists all possible mental illnesses. (I note that Tony also recently claimed "transgenderism" is not a thing when Michael Knowles said he wanted it eliminated.)
Second, the DSM-5 did not "specifically remove" that, it
renamed it and altered some of the criteria. This is common with every entry in every version of the DSM but you know one other place I might have learned this? ErinInTheMorning on Substack, where that idiot recently wrote a "debunking" where he showed all the criteria and how they were mostly the same from the last to the newest version.
Finally, "gender dysphoria" is not a "mental symptom" it's specifically listed as the replacement and has
its own symptoms and nowhere in the DSM-5 (or anywhere else for that matter) does anyone claim it can be "cured" let alone by
transition. Very few mental illnesses can be cured, especially by medical procedures and definitely not by giving patients placebos then doing origami with their gentials. I pointed out that Tony is incredibly unique on trans Twitter for claiming his dysphoria to be completely cured by getting a stinkditch installed. Far more common on Twitter, and in all the literature Tony ignores, is that
nothing practiced in affirming care resolves the dysphoria.
This is all utterly beyond the fact that this is not how psychology/psychiatry works at all.
