I stopped browsing 8chan in 2015 so I dunno what it was like in the 2 years that followed, but what the FUCK happened after 2017? Like yeah, I know that the fat fuck took over and took over the role of queeranon when the OG stopped posting, but did Qtards really become the main userbase? There's nothing new under the sun. People don't remember when 4chan & 7chan were full of literal children back in 2007-ish trying to make everything "a new /b/ meme." It's not as though Mudkipz, EFG, an hero, etc. were any more intellectual than these soyjak variants.

If anything, I think it'll just be time that causes a split. Older posters grow out of the site and stop posting, newer posters who behave differently join the site after hearing about it elsewhere, and they slowly begin outnumbering and replacing the older posters. Those two groups never seem to get along well, every single site always has older users that bitch about the influxes of new posters 'ruining the site culture'; just look at the oldfags on this very site.
