The Chally 2 is a nightmare to operate. It's a mess of proximity switches and relays all of which stop the turret from moving or the gun firing when they're tripped (because they're terrified of the gun stabilization system). The Ammunition is basically unobtanium because for some stupid fucking reason the UK closed the production line before swapping the rifled gun out for a smoothbore. So the Ammunition stockpiled which I don't think is much is all they've got (unless they buy some from Iran or India the only other countries that use rifled 120mm).
They have the moniker "Mentally Challengered" among the crews, due to the litany of stupidity that went into making them.
It's 120mm, same calibre as NATO. The difference is that the barrel is rifled, so the tank can fire HESH, and it uses two-part ammunition so that the propellant can be stored separately, in water-filled containers to reduce the chance of fire if the bins take a hit.

Russia needs all the shells it can get. Their current problem is shell rationing. Wagner complained about it a few weeks ago and some other artillery units inside the RGF itself. Anything that can lob a shell is useful. The downside of this being inaccuracy and obsolescence.
That Katyusha seems to have the civilian plates on it, so my guess is that they are meant for a WW2 parade or something.
