I have a different take on why the media is covering this differently.

Trans/Drag queen shit is a hot button issue right now. It's good for them. Even the average democrat voter isn't so sure about giving hormones to minors etc. Mis-gendering the shooter isn't going to piss anyone off but the most far left idiots who don't even watch "mainstream" media to begin with.
They need the views. Much less crazy clickbait shit to talk about with Trump gone.

It wasn't the gangster part that made those in charge afraid of people owning automatic firearms. It was minorities, which did include Italians, owning them that made them panic.

The troon reaction is always so annoying, they flip between not "dead naming" someone like Chris after what he did, yet when shooters/killers who are also trans or non-binary they act like in order to mention it you have to either ignore the shooter was trans or just deny it altogether. I really hope more normal people start to see troons aren't just people with a different identity and most are genuine lunatics with serious mental damage.

I’ve said this before but I’m pretty sure there are more records of trannies killing others than being killed. I don’t have the autism for it but it’d be interesting to see the number of people imprisoned for killing and rapping trannies v the number of trannies in prison for rape and murder.
