Someone posted this in a private forum and I'm just fabegasted by the fact that this is how this country works...
School shooter was diagnosed severely mentally ill so never should have had access to guns to begin with yet somehow nobody in the government decided to act on this. But if it was one of us who was diagnosed you bet your ass the feds would be at our door with a warrant to take our shit before we were even out of the court/ nuthouse.

And now we have numerous trans groups online openly threatening people stating you'll give them whatever they want "or else" insinuating that they're going to kill children as the school shooter did.

Not to be fed posty but at what point do we just have to kill these people. I mean when people are actively threatening your children with murder, why are we suffering this? why are we allowing this to happen? why is the government not arresting these people? do they want us to just go in the streets and kill them?

Because that's where this road leads when you have a group openly threatening people's children and the government just turns a blind eye eventually people are going to stop asking the government for help and just handle shit themselves regardless of what the laws are.

I feel the urge to weigh into this autism circle jerk about gun control. And I will. Firstly I’ll state that I am not a Burgerstani nor European. But rather a damn dirty Leaf. I grew up around guns my entire life. And would own them if the government stopped stepping on my balls.

The school shooting issue in The States is entirely a mental health one. No amount of legislation will stop it. Something that has been shown both here in Canada and abroad in Europe, Oceania and even Asia. Canada has always had strict gun laws. And prior to and after the most recent crackdowns that I’m sure you’ve heard of. There have been American style mass shootings. The most infamous of which likely being the 2017 Quebec City Mosque Shooting, and the 2020 Nova Scotia Attacks. Alongside vehicular attacks and bombings that are become more common. But attacks like these have always been extremely rare. After the Nova Scotia attacks. Bill C21 was introduced and was given royal assent (was brought into law). The original draft completely neutered Canadian gun owners and want to be gun owners. And its most recent iteration, the banning of handgun transfers doubly so.

But Bill C21 has done nearly nothing to stop gun crime in Canada. Just last week flags were at half mast because two police officers were shot dead in Alberta’s capital, Edmonton. But that’s an aside. Most terror attacks in Canada have been perpetrated by the mentally ill and political extremists. Something which is mirrored in America. And especially so in this situation. The solution to this problem is more investment into mental health. Because as has been shown time and time again these people will make their own guns, see the assassination of Shinzo Abe, or will use something far more destructive, for a Canadian example see the earlier Toronto Van Attack of 2018 or the more recent 2020 truck attack. I could probably go on and on about this. But I think I said my piece on that department.

As for the shooter herself. From what I’ve been reading. She seems to have been absolutely bat shit crazy. I really do look forward to the inevitable release of the manifesto. As this is really a first of its kind incident. And in regards to this being an elementary school. It’s absolutely horrific. I feel for the families of the children and staff who died at the hands of this absolute degenerate. I genuinely hope that she rots in Hell for her actions.
