I have a Rev60 mocking account on Twitter, so I constantly saw these in my feed. JohnWFlynt has had like 20 accounts all accusing Wu of stealing Socially Unconscious from him, so every time one dies, a new one pops up in a matter of days.

See, when Sarkeesian Kickstarted Tropes vs Women, Feminist Frequency had legitimacy. Gamergate hadn't blown up yet, so the bulk of people weren't aware that Feminist Frequency was a group of sensationalizing idiots headed up by an avowed racist. A huge number of donators thought they were donating to a legitimate documentary series, not a propaganda-piece that would then go on to complete less than a third of its videos after almost three years, get caught stealing footage and using art without credit, and so on.

Any non-crazypants backer of Sarkeesian without exception realized she was an absolute fucking scam artist after two years. Her reputation took an enormous hit, and that was before the fucking UN Women debacle and claims that Pokemon would teach your children deadly Nintendo-Style Killing Techniques.
