A woman is less likely to confront someone for insulting them or talking down to them (such as ignoring their pronouns) unless they think they have a good chance of winning the argument (or having a lot of support to back them up if they do make a confrontation.) I believe this is partially why it's much more socially acceptable to disregard women's complaints about things compared to when men complain about things.

Men on the other hand are more naturally aggressive, and when insulted (i.e. misgendered) will respond with aggressive confrontation. If the shooter was a TiM, all the other TiMs would get up in arms about misgendering, whereas you're seeing very few women or TiFs defending the shooter.

It's why when you see trannies at women's right rallies, it's usually the TiFs screaming and it's the TiMs throwing drinks and punching elderly women in the face.

Relatedly, Audrey does not seem to have been totally "out" to the few people she talked to IRL, based on interviews with friends and family who all call her Audrey and use she/her pronouns. Apart from coming out as trans and slapping pronouns on her Linkedin and going by Aiden on her Instagram, in day-to-day life she seems to have passively accepted being misgendered by people in her life.
