I agree that violent people will use any means to harm others, but a large part of Americans are culturally wired to go berserk. Add guns to the mix and you get school shootings almost every fucking month. It may not fix the problem but it will be an improvement in terms of safety.

I mean, I’d like to agree with the first clause in your first sentence, but there are problems in how to quantify “trained” and “mentally well.”

School shooter Audrey Hale was allegedly rejected by family members over their trans identity before gunning down six innocent people in a senseless rampage.
