This was two weeks ago, which means by the time of event, a replacement would have had a month to train.
No new fight is created. The reason? Because it wouldn't be fair to the replacement fighter.

You're not gonna be able to have some random youtuber being in the bench just in case without their audiences getting fucked off(assuming they agree at all), and that's before taking weight classes into consideration which would necessitate several of those.

This influencer boxing shit, all of them mind you, only share stuff like health and safety considerations with actual boxing, most other factors are a lot closer to wrestling if individual wrestlers were independent and with much higher barganing power, with the complication that they are actually boxing so stuff like weight classes need to be somewhat considered.

Barnett is primarily a catch wrestler though and MMA striking and boxing is very different. He's no slouch, he is legit, but he's not a boxer. Though Barnett knows a thing or two about heavy weights so if Harley's opponent makes him work he might gas hard. Just look the first Minx fight, towards the end her arms and shoulders were burnt out and she could barely keep her hands up.

You're completely right but, the latter half of Barnett's career has been coaching, flying around to do classes, etc, and he's a very smart guy in interviews. He's the type of guy that knows how to learn and teach. I would rather learn boxing from him than Floyd Mayweather because no matter how good Floyd is, he literally (literally) can't read. I'm not saying Harleys opponent is guaranteed to win now, just that he's going to people that know their shit and I'm hopeful he can answer the JQ in the ring.
