The dude is quite the online type and not what you expect from a government official. Most definitely accustomed to trolling and pulling the strings of people he considers enemies.
The CIA stuff is likely a shitpost, the Americans seem rather unhappy with the more enthusiastic manifestations of Ukrainian patriotism, including putting Musk on this site and doing drone attacks and the sort inside Russia proper.
PS: to clarify I don't care she was put on the list, because:
- I think she's a retard that makes my country look bad and the people that voted her in need their IQ checked
- I don't think the site is a kill list, although I do think that in a war, some people might decide to take things in thier own hands and use the list like that
- there should be some repercussions for her stupidity, you cannot argue to annex territories from your neighbors as a senator. Not relevant we once had those areas.
so it's not an official "enemy of the state, to be arrested on sight, we demand extradition" matter by the actual ukrainian state, but just some dudes personal propaganda project?

The Ukrainian that took out the Russian assault group and BMP received a medal from Valeriy Zaluzhnyy and got a tour of the M-TAC offices. M-TAC is the largest military store in Ukraine and Zelensky is always wearing M-TAC brand clothing.

Interesting flags the M-TAC office has on their walls.

A troll-ish dude allegedly with strong links to the Ukrainian secret services and hacker groups, yeah, which Moscow tried to assassinate already (allegedly). The Al Jazeera article has some comic stuff like

lol based fuck the press
i like this guy now

That would be Mytovorets, a site that has been the reason for a lot of vatnik paranoias, it makes lists of "Enemies of the State", mostly people that parrot Kremlin propaganda. Has a lot of famous people on it. This specific case is that fat senator from Romania that demanded annexation of territories populated by Romanians in Ukraine. Posted about her a few days ago.
lol, there's an Indonesian dude that got into this website as well. He's such a lolcow, a fat manlet that larps and dress up as a vatnik soldier at every anime con. He disappeared from the public and internet at large after he assaulted someone's car with a fencing sword and an airsoft gun. The entirety of Indonesian internet mocked him like the fat vatnik that he is

I did a little digging and found a video on the Azov Youtube channel where they go to the M-TAC office(Same Azov flags on the wall) and show off their custom made Azov body armor.

The current model of the Azov armor is based on the Corsair body armor developed in 2017. However, it has been significantly improved based on the experience of using it in combat.

In the video, we will tell you about the armor protection of the Azov vests manufactured by Ukrainian Armor.
"These are the developments of our designers, which we started making before the war. We buy high molecular weight ballistic polyethylene. There are only three large factories in the world that produce it. Now we are trying to become the 4th such factory, we are working on it to produce it ourselves," says Denys Milinevskyi, director of the company.

@GoPro
1. Chile was much smaller, didn't fell apart tearing supply chains in the process, and had only 1 major export good - copper (the price of copper was relatively high at this time, too). Not really applicable.
2. China didn't wait until their economy (and the country itself) collapsed. Chinese model could've worked for USSR in the late 70s, but not in the late 80s. Soviet leadership preferred half-measures over structural reforms till the very end. Plus, the presence of HK really helped China to build its own financial system.
3. Other Eastern bloc countries had more consumer-oriented industry than USSR, were more permissive towards market mechanisms and didn't have massively oversized military-industrial complex. Attempts to convert USSR military factories to civilian in the 80s resulted in meme-worthy products like titanium shovels and inconel stoves and couldn't make factories profitable.
4. And in Russia, hardcore commies weren't allowed to return to power at the cost of subverting democratic procedures. In short-term, it seemed like a good decision, but long-term consequences were catastrophic.
5. Tons of Soviet assets could not be sold or generate interest. Also, if Russia had declared default on Soviet debts, it would be much harder to attract foreign capital. Trying to distribute the debt between successor states would have led to massive shitshow.
6. At ~$20 a barrel the oil wasn't a life-saver in the 90s. And as far as I remember, Western oil companies were paid and/or got concessions, standard market cooperation.
7. How can kleptocrats create safeguards against kleptocracy? It comes down to luck and access to resources. Out of 15 USSR successor states, only 7 are democratic, 2-3 are hybrid regimes and other are autocracies.
That's all true but not the whole story.
Other countries managed to figure out the way to transition the economy much better than Russia did. They did not mismanage themselves into a corner. Poland and China were magnitudes bigger than Chile and had a different economy. They figured it out. Baltics had a lot of the same disadvantages Russia did and had to undo decades of Soviet era mismanagement. What's worse, they were suffering from supply issues due to Russia acting up, and lots of their economy was built off of transit of Russian goods to their Baltic Sea ports and then abroad. For a period of time also weren't widely recognized as independent states either. They figured out their transition to capitalism too.
As to oil being cheap, it wasn't back in the 70s and early 80s. Soviet Union was making a bank back then. That money could have been used to modernize several sectors of economy and build up savings in case of emergencies. Kremlin however did little of that, effectively squandering a decade of record (back then) oil prices. Then SU's OPEC buddy Saudi Arabia started producing oil at full capacity and killed Soviet's golden goose. Kremlin was in a corner due to being overly dependent on one sector of the economy.

Kremlin implemented policies that put it in the tight spot and shock therapy failed in such a way that people with ties to soviet leadership benefited.

Can we all agree that it's both that tranny shit started in US and chinks with ruskies encouraged it enough and now runing naritives that the collective "west" is rotent and the only way of saving yourself is going over their collective side.

Like cmon both country's are very obsessed on how they are precived to the outside world that they are strong and everyone should bow down to them so on. I mean North fucking Korea is doing this shit with their ICBM tests to give off the vibes that we will crush everyone though everyone knows they are a joke.

Also there was a meme about how RT is being published in Europe and in South america if someone has it post it due it proves the point that at least russia wants to run a narrative that they are the last salvation of humanity or such shit

Also curent russian army general Gerasamov war doctrine is litlery if you can't beat your enemy convencionaly, subvert them and make them the bad guys of the world. Hence why the constant propaganda shiling and "we are the victims" bullshit
Gerasimov's doctrine makes is rather obvious that informational warfare and subversion are parts of Russia's arsenal. It would be odd for Russia to not support destabilizing movements in the west after the same methods implemented during soviet era led to leftists eating the west from inside.
As to the Chinese, they are supporting feminist and social justice organizations too. Code Pink is the most obvious example of that. It pivoted to disproportionately focus on American activities that interfere with China's dealings and toes the line on all of China's claims. Be it Tiktok, belt and road, China-India relations, Taiwan, nine-dashed line, CCP's surveillance, or abusing Uighurs and specifically targeting Uighur women.

America appears to own it, but as I think I said earlier, the moment the US starts making more than token economics threats against the rest of its western allies, all that stops. America's apparent ownership requires it to be massively exposed to a bunch of risk that it can't control. It wants to; it can't.
I was under the impression a "rootless clique" owned it with the City of London Corporation and Switzerland as centers of it.

The difference between Soviet subversion and modern Russian subversion is that there is no "picking sides".
Soviets wanted to cause subversion by specifically financing and starting up leftist and "anti-imperialist" (re: "when the US intervenes its bad") groups.
The modern Russians will attempt to quietly support both BLM and wignats, not because Russia cares about muh blak lives n shiet or wants to save the future of the whyte race, but mostly just because Russia wants to see its rival divided with incompatible warring factions.

Given that the post soviet inflitration plan was to put the rable-rousing socialists up against the wall while they convinced the capitalists to pay lip servic and join the new order, I think the Soviet infiltration was more about access (i.e. a socialist run org was easier to infiltrate by socialists) and that right-wing orgs at the time were pretty much solidly patriotic and any hint of Soviet or Foreign origins would have resulted in a little backwoods justice.

While Wikipedia is generally a shit source Myrotvorets is quite possibly SBU curated. It might be relevant that Langley, VA, USA (also a location of a government agency employing many Mormons in ill fitting suits) and Warszawa, Polska above their official@myrotvorets.center email.

I wouldn't read too much into CIA funding things. They write checks to a bunch of orgs in exchange for access or cover - it wouldn't surprise me if there is a furry artist somewhere who got cut a check from the glowies, and some guy who checks deviant art every morning looking to see if they've posted a picture of Bugs Bunny shitting in the Tasmanian Devil's mouth.

Because history repeat itself, The the Russian Ambassador of Sweden are now threating Sweden.

snippet from article,:
It is on its website that the Russian Embassy in Stockholm has published the text with the title "A Swedish step towards the abyss". It is written by Russia's ambassador to Sweden, Viktor Tatarintsev.

In the text, it is claimed that Sweden's politicians are tricking the Swedes into joining the NATO military alliance.

The embassy writes, among other things:

If anyone still believes that this will somehow improve Europe's security, you can be sure that the new members of the hostile bloc will be a legitimate target for Russia's retaliatory measures, including military ones. "

"Unusually coarse" Russian rhetoric, says Gunilla Herolf, associate senior researcher at the Institute for Foreign Policy.

- That Russia would claim that it is not legitimate for Sweden to join NATO is more than strange. That it would make Sweden a legitimate target I would say is hair-raising, she says.

note, I have been trying to find the russian embassy in Sweden webpage, but I can't fucking find it or I get 404 errors, so I can't verify the source.

Yeah, the Challenger Lethality Improvement Programme, or CLIP. It was just a single tank, as far as I am aware. Of course, the Challenger upgrades have all been a gigantic clusterfuck, because it wouldn't be the UK if things went smoothly anywhere in government.
That's what I heard in the video I was watching. It's just one tank? I thought it was all of the Challenger 2's. Challenger 3 is supposed to be dropping the rifled 120mm for the smoothbore 120mm that can use APFSDS. They should do that because HESH sounds outdated.

HESH was always used for bunker busting or entrenched positions shelling not tank on tank combat also they are swaping to 120mm smoothbore Rh-120 that are standard to Leo2 and export m1a1 abrams so nothing to new except the electronics upgrade and posable hard kill APS system for Challe3 plus its the same platform. So it's very posable for that thing to enter active service in 2027

Oh to add Challe2 was designed to fight insurgencys not near pear hostiles at best that thing faced t55/54 and a fuck ton of RPG

The English will rightfully beg to differ as Challenger IIs were designed and built to engaged everything from crunchies to modern MBTs. Current issue have been they hadn't been continuously upgraded once they been withdrawn from Iraq.

Is that lower block of text a meme for ants?

Finland kept out of NATO until recently because of just this: Why make yourself a day-0 invasion target when we don't have any territorial disputes with the USSR and if unilateral war were declared on a neutral country someone would intervene.
But given how shit is going down in Ukraine, everyone near by is realizing what the baltic states realized along ago, wanting to make sure they have Article 5 protections to keep Russia was doing dumb shit.

Again, if tomorrow pictures & cabled leaked out showing that Putin had defected to the CIA and this invasion was a purposeful inside glow-op.... the only reason I wouldn't believe it is because its working.

Russia misreading the situation as usual, Swedes aren't pro-ukraine because they love Ukraine and democracy so, so much, they're pro-Ukraine because they hate Russia. If anything this will just make people want to join even harder to rub it in their faces.

As for the embassy homepage the last snapshot is from October, 2022 and can be seen on wayback, after that there are no more snapshots and today it just returns a 404 error. The IT guy in charge of it probably got sent to the front. But the embassy still has presence on Twitter and Telegram, they're RusEmbSwe on both Twitter and Telegram.
