I want someone to provide me with an explanation for the Vegas shooting. That was when I really started to become very suspicious of major shootings. There was never any kind of motive presented and it was memoryholed immediately. 50 something people dead and hundreds injured, virtual media blackout on it since then.
The media reporting of Vegas was pretty light considering the scale of it. The official story is that Paddock was a depressed gambling addict who decided to try and get the high score before killing himself. Although, even then, this explanation only presents itself if you piece together relevant official statements. To my knowledge, there has never been an MSM documentary or any official attempt to clear up all the questions people are asking.
Let us take a look at some of the conspiracy theories.
More than one shooter
Hundreds of videos surfaced after the event and not one of them showed a single shooter, let alone two. It also makes no sense from a strategic perspective. So the Feds are going to blame Paddock up in his nest but there'll also be gunmen on the ground? In helicopters? At other hotel windows? That's an unfathomably large risk to take for such little return when the mission is shooting fish in a barrel. But what about the video where both far and near gunfire can be heard? It's Paddock shooting from different windows on different walls of the building and probably with different weapons. And again, from a strategic standpoint, it makes no sense. Are we to assume that the Feds planned to set up Paddock as the lone gunman but also couldn't foresee that having agents fire from two or more locations might arouse suspicion? It makes no logical sense.
Saudi Arabia
As soon as the schizos heard that the upper floors of the building were rented by the Saudis, supported by a video of a brown man walking thorugh a casino, that was all they needed to piece together the story. They'll demand the highest standard evidence for official stories (quite rightly) but will accept any juicy alternative theory with almost no evidence (quite laughably). This theory is non-starter.
Weapons deal gone wrong
It's not beyond the realms of possibility but I'm not really sure what the claim is with this one. Do we have some Scarface-style cowboys that made Paddock angry so he decided to take it out on the music fans below? And if so, why would the police need to cover that up? And where is your evidence for any of this beyond Paddock having lots of guns? Highly unlikely.
Paddock was an angry leftist
This one was pushed by Alex Jones in the early days - he had the documents! - and it seems to me to be the most plausible of all the alternative theories. It gives Paddock a clear motive and it gives the authorities a clear motive to cover for him. The problem is there's no evidence for it and given how many officers stormed the room you'd have to think at least one of them was a Trump voter who would've let slip by now (other than by phoning Alex Jones of course).
As someone who is always sceptical of what my TV tells me, I think we have to entertain the offical story in the case of Las Vegas. After all, why is it so hard to believe that a bitter and depressed man wanted to kill as many people as he could before bumping himself off? Lunatics exist. I will concede though, that there are still a few oddities surrounding the case that were never explained. I believe there were some women thought to have checked in to Paddock's room at one point or something like that. As for the media's shyness on this one, I think the mundane explanations hold up. Perhaps they just didn't want to harm the Vegas tourism racket. Maybe it's just a simple case of Country music = white people = that's not a story.
