I doubt the FBI is cleaning anything up. The Nashville police already read the manifesto, and it has no doubt been spread around the police department and other police departments too. If the FBI released it and it looked completely different, someone would leak the real one. The only thing I could see them cleaning up is references to other social media accounts and shit like that, but the actual manifesto itself, no.

The FBI is either going to simply redact the shit out of it (making it pointless to read) or they are going to release it when people are distracted with something else months down the line.

Unfortunately, soon after, they refused to release the writings, and merely allowed the local media to summarize the letters he’d written to friends and family. I don’t know how pertinent those writings were to what happened. However, the fact that they agreed to the release the writings and then reneged on it, makes me think they might pull the same thing with Audrey’s manifesto, especially if the manifesto is inconvenient for them.

I was just saying they aren't going to cook up a fake manifesto like others are suggesting. They might redact it to hell, or they might just take forever to release it. But making a fake one, no, I flat out don't believe that. Too many people saw it and it would only take one person to leak the real one.

I remember that bombing, and tbh I don't think they will be able to get away with summarizing this manifesto because this shooting is a bigger deal. Lots of people are upset, most cops are Trumpers/Republicans that hate the Democrats, and Tennesseans in general hate troons too. There is a lot more pressure to release this manifesto.
