Twice in the past year, I got random excruciating pain in my left index finger, so intense I dropped to the floor. Then it suddenly went away.
I have no way to describe the pain. Other than maybe immediately being in a vice with extreme amounts of pressure.

Am 30. Hope I don’t get that.

If it happened all the time, in your face and head, yea I’d probably kms. You might even end up doing it accidentally if it happened driving or something

It's not SRS- or directly gore- related, yet this is the most suitable place for this I suppose. In 2023 this survey on Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria aka ROGD was published (do not confuse with Littman's in 2019). What they did was to survey 1k+ families with "transgender kids" and interpreted the results. For lazy ones, I put below the spoiler some graphs I found interesting, however what ebbed me personally the most was:

"Finally, we examined associations between social transition and contact with gender specialists. Of the 1,396 parents who answered the relevant question, 37.8% (527) had received a referral to a gender specialist and 52.3% (737) had not. (The remaining 9.5% [132] did not know.) These referrals were associated with a greater chance of social transition: 82.3% of females with a referral had socially transitioned compared with 58% of other females; the respective figures for males were 44.3% and 21.1%. "

And

"Parents were asked whether they had felt pressure from a “gender clinic or specialist” to transition their child socially or medically. Of the 390 parents who answered this question, 51.8% answered “yes,” 23.6% were unsure, and 24.6% said “no.”

The "gender specialists" basically function like cult recruiters. Imagine coming with anorexia to your doctor and getting prescribed to eat less - this is how it is. I don't know if those "specialists" have medical education or they are just alumni of another gender studies but this bullshit should be licensed to hell. The lack of proper psychologists are are a part of the problem.

1) Regarding mental illness which follows gender dysphoria, all's fav autism doesn't lead however anxiety, ADHD, and depression do.

2) Interesting data on symtoms which followed ROGD. Both sexes showed depression, socialising problems, 24/7 online, self harm (girls' symptom as expected) and vidya (more a boys' thing). A very low % reported problems dealing with homosexuality, which imo corresponds with the take that FTM and MTF are just "spicy straights" not gays.

3) Next steps are transition steps. Again, the solid discrepancy between M and F, while freaking 70%+ of girls will bind their chest and wear male cloth, most of M will do nothing lol. Kinda reminds me of those unshaved ogres in dresses with She/them pronouns.

I've managed to get through the majority of this thread. It's been a horrific eye opener.

One of the things that really struck me was how these people talk about their "life saving surgery", how they just have to have it done NOW or they'll DIE! You'd think that these idiots would want to do everything in their power to assure this momentous life saving surgery is a success.

Things like losing weight and stopping smoking beforehand. Nope, too much work I guess. And then the way they just flippantly blow off the aftercare. Shit, I get something as simple as a fractured tooth extraction done, I follow the dentist's instructions afterwards to the letter. What a bunch of absolutely insufferable assholes.

Regarding the discussion about Trigeminal Neuralgia, fortunately with the variety of treatment options available today, the old moniker "suicide disease" no longer applies in most cases. I was diagnosed with TN around six years ago. Mine is unilateral affecting the right side of my face and jaw, and is caused by a blood vessel impinging on the Trigeminal nerve at the base of the brain. The pain is sudden, and feels like an electric shock and blowtorch combined. An absolutely debilitating level of pain.

I've been able to get it under control with meds, and have been in remission for two years now. If it comes back, I'll have a gamma knife procedure. They map out where the nerve and vessel are pressing against each other and zap it with radiation from multiple angles causing a lesion in the nerve that blocks the pain signal. It's a one time one day procedure. Far less risky and invasive than actual brain surgery and with a relatively high success rate.

The Heaven's Gate cult convinced a bunch of grown adult men to undergo castration procedures. Not everyone in the cult did it and apparently wasn't mandatory but the peer pressure was enought that most of them were convinced it was something they had to do for their own well being and that they were making the best possible choice. And then most of them commited suicide when the cult told them it was for their well being as well.

IIRC, some time ago Jessica Pin got into it with (actual) feminists on Twitter and I lost patience with her “I have no problem with trans ladies!!!” attitude. But goddamn is she learning a lesson now. You cannot possibly suck the girldick enough or what is possibly worse, suck the T-distorted clits of the pooner-handmaidens enough.
