It honestly reminds me of my college days. Furniture seems like secondhand crap that people were throwing out (I think every college student has experienced the cracked pleather couch experience). Random stuff everywhere. Probably less dusty than Wu's though. Most college kids would have the decency to grab a rag and wipe stuff down every week.

I'm morbidly curious to see what the kitchen looks like. The sink must be a complete disaster. The fridge must have years of caked on juice that spilled inside it. And what are the odds Wu cleans out the stove on a regular basis? I bet if you look hard you'll find scented candles everywhere to mask the musty smell.
Honestly? Their place looks worse than the flats I had in my student days, and those had 4-5 poor students in them. They somehow still managed to have better looking furniture than the Wu household.

The duplex I lived in as a junior and senior in college looked a lot better than this:

That shelf with the speakers on it looks like something most people would find unacceptable in their garage.

Isn't Frank supposed to be rich? Why does their hoouse look like a dump?
Money doesn't kill bad habits- it magnifies them. Brianna was probably definitely always a filthy slob but now even more so now that she has to work for literally nothing. Frank and Brianna both probably consider house cleaning below them and/or are too lazy to do it. I would also bet that they're far too paranoid to hire a cleaning service of some kind.

Target practice?
Nah, in Wu's mind the perfect womyn in tech not only a successful game developer, hyperactive geek/nerd and fighter for anything-not-cis-rights, but also a pet lover with a crowd of lovable fuzzy little rascals buzzing around her. In other words, those dogs are just another accessory to Briannas fake image.

You see, Brianna Wu is a "Game Developer", who also has "worked professionally" in several fields. No one is exactly sure what she did or does, but she is 'really successful'. She also owns a lot of accessories, for the sole reason to make her look good; Like an edgy motorbike (that she can't actually drive), a lot of cute little doggies, VR-Stuff, Apple-Shit etc. However, the best accessory of them all is her ever-happy, token husband Frank.

Or in other Words:
Brianna Wu is a human sized Barbie Doll...
(...that accidentally fell into in the oven and was pulled out before her face could melt off entirely.)

I know that this is clearly off-topic from the latest discussions, but I'm currently in the process of trying to put together a layout for the house of horrors that is the Wu residence...

But I seem to be running into an issue, because with all of the resources I'm using to piece it all together, I'm either getting a completely different house between last Christmas and more recently with the Blue Apron postings, or there's been windows replaced, because the living room windows don't match up between different shots.

Did they move and I'm just having a stupid moment?

EDIT: Or they reorganized and there's sections of the house that I can't put into the floorplan of disgust. I thought they were in a smaller house, but I don't have the info I need anymore to confirm that.
I really love the idea of the Wu residence being some kind of horrible hell-house that subtly shifts every day, eventually becoming a dwelling that simply can not exist according to logic.

You mean that the building, and everything in it, is an abomination that is constantly warping in a battle with the laws of our existence?

It would explain all the screaming photos.

And so very much more.
