I wasn't there for that myself, but multiple people said as much and it seems Ralph reacted live to the news about 10 minutes before the end of his stream (around 6:15:00 in the replay). Was looking forward to it quite a bit. Oh well. Hopefully they reschedule, especially if the plan was to dig into the Ralph legal saga.

But yeah, tonight was a very rare night where I was refreshing Rekieta's YouTube channel waiting for the stream link to appear, and it never did. I just hope Nick doesn't cancel tomorrow, since I'm sure that'll be the 15th Friday show in a row or whatever we're up to now with Coomalot appearing on it, and I know it would pain Nick so much to miss that.

I recall that Nick fairly recently talked about how Monty choosing not to sue Rekieta Media in Texas might be considered suggestive of forum shopping, which implies he must have not realized yet because as @Strix454 accurately notes, one impact of having your right to conduct business forfeited is that the company cannot defend itself in Texas court. There's literally no reason to sue Nick in Texas at this point in time.

Another night without a show that’s 3/9 shows missed over the last two weeks. I’m betting there’s something going on in his personal life, that post about a date night with our wife the other night was pure cope. He has said before the Monty is suing the wrong corporation, that Monty needs to be suing Rekieta Media LLC, and that Rekieta Media LLC is "wholly in Texas," so Monty will have to contend with Texas law instead of Minnesota law.

Of course, all of this is wrong and if he had paid attention as a 1L he would know: (1) Rekieta Media LLC is defunct because either he or Tylophone was too lazy to file the renewal papers, so it gives him no protection, and (2) despite Rekieta's faggotry about how "his business is all online," that's not how the law works, and Rekieta Media LLC's principal place of business is Rekieta's basement in Spicer, MN, so it is accessible in MN courts. Also, you can only have a valid corporation of you separate it from yourself enough (eg having a separate bank account, etc), which I doubt Rekieta was diligent enough to do.

Later on, when the farms pointed out that he had forgotten to file his corporate papers and paying his fees, he said a few offhand comments about fixing it. It appears he hasn't fixed it. I think he wanted to let Rekieta Law LLC expire, but keep Rekieta Media LLC.
