I don't own any, but I've played with a KSG and an RFB at the range, they weren't that awful. I wouldn't run out and buy one, but it's neat to see what insane thing George is going to develop next, like that 5.7 "PDW" pistol. If he worked for a better company instead of his own there could be some really interesting hardware being put out after his insanity was refined.

The Tavor is awesome, not going to contest you on that at all. Best bullpup rifle in 5.56 that money can buy.

Danny Def makes a fantastic AR, but I'd put that money in the Tavor, personally. I love bullpups.

As a (mostly) normal gun owner you should remember that if you don’t practice with it then it’s not an effective threat deterrent.

I’m really not trying to fear monger or anything but with all the states that have constitutional carry in addition to all the states that have permit-issued-carry, it’s worth doing just the bare minimum to keep you and your fambly safe. Even if youre not planning to take it out of the house and just have it for home defense.

The Tavor is awesome, not going to contest you on that at all. Best bullpup rifle in 5.56 that money can buy.

I've got a DDM4v7 and an X95, my X95 is in .300BLK, it's a beast, I can change it out for 5.56 fairly easily too, the design is great, and with an aftermarket trigger pack the normal Bullpup triggers problems are virtually none existant, it's almost as crisp as the DDM4 with a Geissele trigger pack.
Pricey again, but absolutely worth it.
I was going to look at getting the SBR kit put in for the X95 to take it a little shorter, simply because I like the look, but really 16" is fine, and the price and hassle of SBRing it with those bullshit anti 2nd paper jams in the way isn't worth it. I'm not paying the fucking ATF $200 odd bucks they don't deserve and should be able to charge.

Yeah it definitely drops off if you don't put the work in.
For anyone practising regularly (especially after the Covid Ammo shortages pointed out the flaw in the supply chain) I'd recommend anyone serious invest in a reloading rig. If you shoot enough it will literally pay for itself after a while in what you save in store bought, plus you can custom your own loads once you get the hang of it.
Doesn't have to be fancy, just a simple one is worth it, and if you're firing more expensive rounds like .300BLK or .338LM it's gonna pay for its self quicker than you'd think.
It's also a great way to build up a surplus for a rainy day.
You should be able to work out a deal with the local range to buy their used brass too (especially if you live in a small town and you're a regular lol) which will save even more.
