Yes, same observation on my end. A lot more politically disconnected but firmly left-wing people are getting a lot more uncomfortable with this. The realistic effect in the short term is very sharp voter demotivation. If our politics were sane it would mean the GOP now can come in and sweep the country in a wave. Sadly, 2020 taught me that this is not what will occur and instead the GOPe will actively sabotage everything it can out of sheer spite for Trump.

I’d assume the neither. The last few years have taught me that these people are deeply malicious as a rule. They don’t change their opinions even as the boot is on their neck.

The agents are, those actively pushing it. But always keep in mind that 40% of people are not registered as Democrats or Republicans, and usually a third of what is registered as either party are registered in name only and have very little engagement of -any- kind. The majority of people period are unconnected and unconcerned, voting as they always have and believing the problems cropping up were either unavoidable or somehow connected but in ways they do not understand and do not care to understand.

If they are getting uncomfortable though, that state of things will not stand and they become much, much more likely to take a peak behind the curtain.

This has been bothering me for a while the "Losing with Dignity" thing. The Republicans are mostly just like the Democrats, most don't hold any real convictions of any kind. And they are only concerned, as the Democrats are, with furthering their Political career. They just spout the lines they are supposed to spout, while they continue to vote in lock step with what the bureaucracy wants. Because the bureaucracy gives them the info, the bureaucracy manages the media.

Many times more independent Republicans did stuff like take other Politicians to the Southern Border or to the J6 cells, and what they describe is that those Politicians both Democrat and Republican who agree to go, are just blindsided, they don't know what really going on, they get mostly the same information as the regular CNN or MSNBC viewer. I'm a 9th grade dropout. But I know there's some sort of academic subject that addresses the nonverbal presentation of people and things. Someone here likely knows all about it and could better express this than myself. My mind makes the connection with this when I see that little faggot more than a lot of other partisan public figures.

There's usually some sort of rationale attempted with respect to the details of these presentations, sounding to me like a lot of evo-psyche explanations.
