Disney Adults / Disneymania

OH MY GOD I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT! I forgot those existed!
Oh my Lord, I just stumbled upon a whole new rabbit hole.

Gotta say, all things considered these are pretty well done from a technical standpoint. And that's part of what makes them unintentionally hilarious.

And of course the vast majority of these feature Jim. Whoever was his character designer really knew what they were doing because these women seem to love him.

And these remind me of a channel in a similar vein called James’ Edits, which flawlessly mashes Disney characters in a scene from another Disney film entirely.

Want to see a GOOD Pooh’s Adventures video? James’ Edits has you covered!

And of course there’s Pogo:

It's an insult to compare that to Pooh's Adventures.

I like her because she has a job. The whole thing about being poor around wealthy people, and even being friends with people with more money than you, was really relatable. It's a shame they market her primarily as the "black princess" instead of the "Working class princess".
Honestly, it betrays a weird mentality to me, this idea that non-black people can't relate to black people and vice versa. I think it might explain all that shit about "We need to see ourselves." when it comes to race-swapping characters.
Yeah, Tiana was really relatable. It's a shame her movie wasn't very good. They should do a television series that's just her running her restaurant, I'd watch that.

Your wish has been granted (sort of)!

Seems like this thread is all Fandom Menace / Friday Night Tights / Rippaverse types posting their Muh Disney is Woke bullshit. I thought it was going to be about making fun of childless weirdos who collect toys and go to theme parks dressed up. I'll show myself the door.

Who says they aren't comprised of a majority of the same people?

Girls love Jim because they think he's hot.

Boys like Treasure Planet because it is one of the Aryan Adventure Films produced by Disney (alongside with Atlantis the Lost Empire).

We are not the same.

John Doyle (Nick Fuentes Lite) made a video last year where he talked about how Gaston was actually the Hero.

"Neo-Gastonism ideology" Oooookay........

Gaston is still the Villain of Beauty and the Beast, but he's a relatable Villain. He's narcissistic and demonstrates he is willing to do whatever it takes to reach his goals, he skilled, and he's the most handsome built guy in the town. So he's got plenty of reasons to act how he does. He sticks to the rules, and social norms. Only when he becomes desperate for the goal of Belle does he decide to break that.

You can see this is Belle and Gastons exchange at the house, he's enraged and flabbergasted Belle rejected him, he's doing literally everything right socially, she should've thrown his panties at him when he knocked on the door.

Imagine if Gaston killed the beast, and returned triumphantly to the town. He'd be the biggest hero in the province. Belle would be then trapped in a situation, where either she'd have to marry Gaston. Or be ostracized by the entire populace, because who would literally turn down the Hero? She must be mad as her Father. She'd probably have to flee.

If you break down Belle though, she comes off a bit shallow, only interested in herself. For example Gaston offers her to get married and raise children which the movie implies is bad (especially boy children) and he's not fond of books, and his boots will dirty things. Housewife? Husband complaining about books? Dirt? EW.

On the other hand she was living in a Castle with servants and a Massive library. So shes in her ideal environment, she won't really have to take care of kids if she has any, and she has all the books she would ever want. The Beast is a Prince, so we don't know if he's actually good at anything, he just got his wealth, and we don't know if he has temper issues afterward. But who cares, still a hot guy plus Palace and Books and Servants. Way better deal.

She'll probably pop out the same number of kids Gaston asked for and not think a thing of it while living in the Palace.

I think Belle not being that great of a person is part of her appeal as a character. She isn't a perfect love intrest to either the Beast or Gaston. She is her own person with wants and faults that put her in odds with others. She is self-centered, often ignore others, argumentative, rebellious and rude when feelings slighted and tendency to act without thinking when afraid. She has her good sides too so why they might like her isn't that unbelievable. Beyond being hot she is also brave, well read, polite, caring, willing to admit mistakes and doesn't hold a grudge. I think this makes her romance with the Beast more believable, neither side is perfect but can be good to one another.

I think this best demonstrated by her making peace with the Beast. Why does she need to do that? Because she was acting like a dick as soon as she got comfortable enough with the castle. She argued with the Beast, took advantage of the servants and deliberately broke the one rule she got, don't go the West wing. When she gets scared by the Beast get mad at her, she runs to snow storm almost getting killed by wolfs. The Beast saves her and how does she thank him? Well, she almost left him to die. She was climbing to her horse ready to leave by herself when she thought no, this isn't right. She takes him back to castle where both of them call each other out on their behavior in a heated argument but she puts her pride aside enough to thank him for saving her. He takes it well and that turns the relationship around because both are willing to just move on despite what happened.

Yeah I can understand that. It's just irked me that she only admitted she loved him when she thought he was dead. If there wasn't a magic rose, you could call it a Shakespearian tragedy.

Kinda agreed but I don't think she realized she actually loved him before that moment. Mostly of course whatever is dramatic because it's a movie but I think it makes sense enough with Belle's character. She isn't the most socially avare individual. She didn't really get that Gaston was into her either before he made it very clear, is considered to be complete wierdo by her home town and doesn't seem to have any friends. Also in the castle she was busy getting know the place and people in it so had an extra reason to miss what was going on. Her falling for the Beast was a low burner thing where she wasn't looking for love but it kinda happened. He was actively pursuing her but she genuinely seemed see the romantic gestures as just friendly and having fun. She knew that she liked him but not that she liked liked him before loosing him was there in her face.

I watched this video before I realized that there was a thread here. The Mexican lady seems close to figuring out that forming your self-image around a billion-dollar corporation is a sad and hollow endeavour but she's clearly in too deep to give up now. Sunk cost fallacy and all that. Maybe literally since she has 15 000 USD of Mickey Ears for... Some reason?

Imagine wanting cultural validation from a corporation that will take any opportunity to turn it into a consoomer holiday instead of being content with celebrating with your local community, family, and friends. She is the first gen immigrant bad end

It doesn't matter if investors are feeding them money, they're already in irreparable freefall. They've already fired thousands of people, and will have a fraction of staff left.
A bit of a whitepill in all of this madness, at least some techcels and a fair share of retarded Disney executives are getting dragged through the mud.

Metaverses are such a retarded idea, peak startup scam bullshit, but you just know some soy people are crying they won't be able to buy a house in virtual disneyland

Not the first time i've seen this take and it has a point but the "not like other girls" will always fall for the controlling rich sociopath, so the canon ending is still more true to life.

Meanwhile, for all of Gaston's positive traits, he's still ultimately an incel.

With a bunch of girls eager to jump in his lap and ride him, he goes for Belle?!

Any sane person would just cut their losses and go for one of those.
he simped for the town's e-girl and paid the toll. Gaston is the real protagonist and the whole movie is a cautionary tale about hoes not being worth it.
