In the case of Henry (and a few of her other schizos), it was people talking about her on 4chan (/vt/) that initially attracted him (self-admitted on this page of his manifesto). She has a sizeable dedicated audience there who talk about her consistently, and if you know anything about the current state of 4chan in the Year of our Lord 2023, you can infer what that often tends to entail.

One of Pippa's faults is that she's often overly kind to people who do not deserve it, apparent with her interactions with Henry laid out in the OP. She hesitates to put her foot down and directly tell retards to fuck off, because she doesn't want to actually be mean to any of her fans. Instead, she appears to be overly optimistic and sincerely caring in hoping that schizo fans of hers will eventually get better, resulting in giving them chance after chance. The insane people, of course, only take advantage of this and continue to push the envelope to its' breaking point each and every time - she didn't realize that Henry was a ticking timebomb lolcow until it was way too late, and only after she had consistently poked the hornets' nest with cowtipping and replying to him positively on Twitter for months. Retards think they can get away with dumb shit because they aren't told to knock it off and fuck off often enough, and are even sometimes encouraged by the community (remember, Pippa's chat originally voted to unban Henry from chat in that September stream).

Yeah, there was definitely a sizeable chunk of people who only voted to unban him because they wanted to laugh at him more. It wasn't a huge majority of her audience who wanted him unbanned either - the vote was insanely close (49% - 51% vote split if I recall correctly). But there was a real mix, and another chunk of people in chat were saying that he did nothing wrong whilst she was reading his manifesto and in the superchats afterwards. Most were likely joking and taking the piss, but by sheer law of probability in a chat full of hundreds of people, at least a handful of them had to have been sincere in sympathizing with Henry, because this translated to people unironically congratulating him on getting unbanned, emboldening him.

There's no concrete 110% connection proof that I can spot so far, but everything seems to match up - the typing, the way he presents himself, his literal first tweet being @'ing Henry telling him to check DMs, etc. all makes me convinced of it.
